Tara Lavoie Design provides full service residential and commercial Design Consultation and services throughout Metro-Vancouver. Tara trained at New York’s The Sheffield School of Interior Design and specializes in luxury new build Design Development and Renovations. Inspired by romantic, timeless and elegant design, we blend our range of skills to achieve a stunning atmosphere that tells a story. Working closely with trades and local suppliers allows us to offer exclusive value to every client resulting in a lasting investment. The collaborative nature of our client-specific concept is something for which the team is known. Making sure every space is thoroughly organized and carefully thought out from conception to completion is our focus. Considering all aspects of the home, we make sure that each space is functioning optimally and with the utmost quality. With our eye for detail, we are committed to exquisite execution. Tara helped us to design main floor of our house , that includes living room , dining room and office. She listen to our thoughts and generated a beautiful, elegant design that was beyond our imagination. she has an impeccable taste. Also , she introduced us to wonderful suppliers. She negotiated a great price for us that compensated almost 80% of her fee. Which is a win-win situation if budget is your concern, we are looking forward to work with her again as we want to redesign our master bedroom

I would never refer Tara to anyone. She’s very unreliable. And does not follow through with orders or checking on orders or when they should arrive. She promised us our house would be finished in three months. It’s now been nine months. And we can’t get a hold of her.

I found Tara through Houzz and hired her based on good reviews. She worked on decorating my newly-built custom large home. Tara began my home project immediately as time was of the essence for me and it’s a large 7500 sq ft house. She delivered nice concept boards that gave me a good visual of what she will be ordering. She was conscious of my budget and gave me good feedback on where to spend more or less. Overall, Tara understood the type of design I prefer and purchased beautiful pieces to accent the home. I’m very happy with how my home looks. Tara is easy to work with and is reliable and accessible. I would highly recommend her as a designer.
