My sweetie has grand kids that we want to keep DOWN STAIRS. With small plastic gates that don't really work well, So we ordered one. Now its kid proof. Tom was able to install the gate in a great area, plus match a 35 plus year old stain color well. It looks and functions very well. We are very Happy with the gate.
