I worked with Caroline of Fairmount Hardware during the total remodel of our farmhouse. She helped me select the cabinetry, countertops, faucets and hardware for the kitchen and bathrooms. Caroline was very knowledgeable and graciously offered suggestions to help bring my "vision" to life! She listened and answered my many questions. I was given samples of "my" cabinets and countertops to help make paint and flooring selections. She even travelled 45 minutes one way to meet with our contractor and me at the house to do final measurements before ordering. While reviewing the blueprints together, Caroline discovered an error in a measurement that prevented me from ordering too many cabinets. Delivery and installation were flawless. The end product is beautiful, excellent quality, very functional and efficient. The entire staff at Fairmount Hardware were very friendly and helpful. I have recommended Caroline and her expertise to others and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again on a project.

We went to Fairmount Hardware & Lumber looking for a custom cabinet. Caroline was very helpful getting just what we needed. We got to select everything from style to color to where the drawers were placed. It was perfect. We thought the price was fair too! They delivered it to our house, and everything was great! I would definitely use them again!

Best kept secret in Campaign & Verlmilion Counties (especially for kitchen remodel). Best service you are going to get anywhere. Well worth the drive out to Fairmount if you are planning to build or remodel. There you have the time to go through the plans, ask the questions, order up the material and in most cases, have it delivered to your doorstep when you want it. They really do take the time and extra steps to make sure that your project turns out the way that you want it to. They might be a little higher on some of the prices but, when you factor in the convenience and ease of shopping there, the few extra dollars is well worth it. I highly recommend trying them out and see how easy it is to shop there.

If you want service from a family owned hardware and lumber supplier instead of big box treatment then this is where you need to go.

I have worked with this company for several years, they work real hard to find the right product, sometimes they just can't compete in pricing!
