We have moved in last week, and the first thing I wanted to do was take pictures and show you the beautiful kitchen you created for our family! We all love it and are very grateful to you for making it functional and beautiful. The kitchen table works perfectly with the two benches in the dinette space, and we love the size of the reconfigured island. The two tone combination is really stylish. Colleen was our Kitchen designer when we renovated our kitchen. She listen to our wish list and provided insight on what would and wouldn’t work. We did a complete re-build of a small bungalow and downsized. I love to cook and was concerned about squeezing my old large kitchen into our new home. We had hired a designer for the overall house design, but the kitchen needed help. Colleen made our new kitchen beautiful but more importantly functional. Although I had seen a few kitchen "experts", we weren't completely satisfied. Colleen made tweaks to our design that no one had thought of. She cleverly used small, thinkably unused areas, and made the most of the kitchen space. We have lived in it now for 6 months and I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much!

I did a substantial amount of research before settling on MR Kitchen and a patient designer (Colleen MacKinnon) incorporated all of my changing ideas into the final design, which I love. The cabinets are quality products and, Olistin, the construction company associated with them were professional, timely and communicative. Our project was a total re-design of the original space and, of course, disruptive to our daily lives but worth every moment we spent in renovation. I still sit in the adjoining family room and just stare at this beautiful and efficient kitchen for which i am getting rave reviews from family and friends. Viola

Colleen helped us design the kitchen of our dreams! We renovated our entire house adding a new kitchen on the back of our house. Colleen worked within our budget to give us excellent design recommendations with a huge amount of cupboard space, was very responsive to all of our questions, was open to any changes in design, and provided advice on choosing appliances and tiles to complement our kitchen. We were very happy with the quality of the final product, and get many compliments on our "magazine kitchen". We couldn't be happier with our experience with Colleen and M and R Kitchens.

With all of the ideas, the extras and different quality of wood, counters, handles and so much more; she was able to connect with our needs, our budget and our taste. After a few plans at different prices, we had a better understanding of what we wanted, what we could afford and what we could do without according to our budget.The final product is that we have a beautiful kitchen. Colleen helped us redesign our kitchen from the bottom up, including layout, colours, and materials and we couldn't have been happier with the result! She listened to all of our wishes and provided us with options on how best to achieve it. Colleen was amazing! She had to be extremely patient with us. We changed our kitchen plan 3 times! Once we removed a wall we did an about face and wanted a whole new design. She did it all! Very knowledgeable about cabinet options. Worked hard to fit in all that we wanted with our very finicky details and measurements. My husband is doing the renovation part so she was in constant contact with him if changes had to be made. She patiently worked with him to readjust to new measurements. Colleen is an interior designer so a big step above a box store computer kitchen design person. Her greater experience informed everything she and we did from code requirements all the way to whether my paint colour would go well with my cabinet colors and quartz counter top. We are busily finishing up our reno and the cabinets are to arrive in a few weeks. We are very excited and know that we exhausted all of our options and will not be disappointed or second guessing ourselves once the kitchen is in. Still rethinking the pot light options. The more you read, the more you know, the more things change. So do the thinking first.....got a trunk load of pot lights to return!
