Mark was great to work with as we collaborated on a suspended seating projects for one of his clients. We appreciated his professionalism.

Design, Build Specialists was hired my me two times. First we completed the complete remodel of our top floor - 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms. Two years later we hired them to complete a remodel of our first 2 floors, which included taking out a load-bearing wall, and gutting the kitchen, family room and most of the living room. So, the remodel was pretty big. We met with Mark and the team once-a-week to make sure we were all on the same page and that all was going well. (It is not nice to live in a home where you have no kitchen and most of your living space is being re-constructed, but I have to say that Mark's guys did what they could to make this as easy and as quickly done as possible. I totally recommend Mark's company. They are responsive and responsible and that, in the Contractor's Industry, is highly valuable. I have friends who have not had a positive experience with their remodels. I hope you choose Design Build and do not have so many challenges with you contractor and the work you want completed as have some of my friends.

Design Build Specialist constructed a covered dining area and a studio in our backyard. Both match the house finish and roofing perfectly. They also installed wood flooring, beam ceilings and a barn wood wall in various rooms. Design Build was outstanding to work with, the owner and employees all have a strong work ethic, are very skilled, really they are artisans at what they do. We are love the results and are completely satisfied. Deadlines and budgets were met. Surprises encountered were solved without hesitation.

Mark and his staff have done several projects for us. Always professional to work with, and always high quality work. The first project they did was in 2008, and it was a remodel of our work place. It was important to us that the final project be done well, of course, but importantly, we couldn't close the office during the work. They were incredibly accommodating of our staff and our clients, even doing some of the more disruptive work at night and on the weekends. So then in 2014, when we decided to put an addition on our house, we knew they would be up to the challenge. This was a huge project, just over 900 square feet, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms added upstairs. But Mark and his crew didn't disappoint. Throughout the project, communication between Mark and his crew, ourselves, and the subs involved was paramount to keeping things running smoothly. On the occasions when something came up (and on a project that big, things will come up!) Mark always worked with us to find a solution that was fair to all parties. We've been living in the addition for almost a year now, and are thrilled. I would definitely hire them if I had to do it all over again.

Mark Labourdette | Design Build Specialists did an excellent job as General Contractor on our house lift / remodel project in Tiburon CA. Not only was the end result beautiful, but the entire experience was organized and highly professional from concept to completion. Mark held weekly meetings with us to review progress on a master project timeline and also reviewed billing as well. His team was highly skilled, courteous and kept the project site extremely clean. We purchased replacement interior doors from this company, with the work completed in June 2013. My husband and I are very pleased and love the bright, clean update. All workers were outstanding -- very professional, fast, accurate, and courteous. We would definitely hire this company again for a house project.
