Kindred Kitchens and Baths

We were looking for a contractor for our kitchen renovation who would also design the plans and we found that with Tom. Tom was easy to work with and listened to our suggestions. All of the subs that worked on the project were professional and did excellent work. Tom worked on the project also and showed his years of craftsmanship. The kitchen renovation also included bathroom relocation, wall removal, custom cabinetry, new windows and doors. Despite the age of our house and the brutal winter weather, the project was done on time and on budget. We love our kitchen and got exactly what we wanted.

We worked with Tom and Keith for over a year. First with knocking out a wall and redesigning our living room and fireplace, and then our kitchen remodel. Tom is a true artist and his designs are up to date and cutting edge. He gives his entire thought and creativity to only one client at a time and is constantly coming up with great ideas to help make your requests come true for the best possible outcome. He is meticulous with getting a design that works for your lifestyle and has a great eye for detail. Our kitchen is better than we ever dreamed it would be. Both Tom and Keith were here everyday and on time from start to finish, and always cleaned up before leaving for the day so we did not have to live in a mess. Tom was also available to help with fixtures, appliances, or lighting. He listens and gets a good feel for what your personal taste is and then enhances it. We are so happy with our kitchen and living area. He is the only designer/contractor we will ever use.

Kindred Kitchens did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. Tom put a tremendous amount of thought and creativity into the design. He believes in quality products and quality construction and you feel like he treats your project as he would his own. His attention to detail is unsurpassed. You know that everything is going to be done to perfection. He was also very helpful in guiding us through decisions that needed to be made. Things were done when he said they would be and he was very clear about the budget and did not waver, unless it was something we had discussed in advance. Tom Kindred remodeled our kitchen in 2012. We were so pleased with how it turned out, his expertise, and with our experience working with him that we had no hesitation in having him come back to remodel the master bath in 2015. Tom is hands on from the design stage to the finishing touches and is actively working at the job site every day. He listens to our ideas and questions, knowing that the client needs to be happy with the end result. He is attentive to the details, such as trim, molding, and lighting that can give the project that “Wow” factor. He is respectful that the workspace is also our home by protecting floors with drop cloths, plastic, or cardboard and cleaning up the at the end of each day. Tom is pleasant, polite, and trustworthy. We were comfortable giving him access to our home. The next time we have a remodeling project, Tom Kindred will be the first one we call.

We love our new kitchen and had a great experience working with Tom throughout. He works on only one project at a time which makes him very accessible and constantly there making sure each detail is perfect. His design ideas are great. We hope to work with him again!
