TL:DR - Pegasus is a top tier contractor and I will absolutely go to them for any and all work in the future. Reasonably priced with above and beyond service/care and correct/proper/by the book workmanship across the board. It's not the cheapest, but if you want it done right, it's a top notch deal to work with Pegasus. This review is a bit overdue as work finished over the summer a few months ago, but I cannot recommend Mike and the Pegasus team enough. After meeting with several contractors for my load bearing wall removal project, I felt the most secure and comfortable with Mike and chose Pegasus for the work. They were middle/upper middle of the pricing but I knew I was in good hands. I had a comparatively small project to what they normally do, but Mike didn't hesitate to help me take on this project after discussing my needs and wants, and for that I'm truly grateful. Speaking with him, you can just tell he's a stand up guy. Mike was always attentive and detailed in explanations, which I appreciated. Communication from the whole team was excellent throughout the project and they were accommodating with my schedule needs. Knowing our pet situation and also that my wife had a night shift schedule, Mike always remembered and always made sure all of his workers and subs were aware to minimize disruption. Of course, major housing projects of any size are difficult to deal with and ours was an ordeal with some surprises, but it was definitely unavoidable and impossible to have figured out prior to work starting. Pegasus made it as painless as possible and gave us time to figure out the best path forward and guidance on any issues or concerns we had. Ultimately, I have zero regrets with starting the project, choosing Pegasus, or with the final product. Everything came together and our project came to completion before the projected date. Definitely give Mike and his team a call if you're looking to do any sort of work.

Pegasus was very professional and friendly/kind/understanding to myself and my husband. They always kept us informed on what was going on and what was happening next. They informed us of who and when people were coming to our home and what to expect and what was going to be done and when they were going to complete the project. I have another project that may come up in the future and I will use them as our contractor.

We hired Pegasus Remodeling to renovate all three of our bathrooms and the complete upstairs (all original), as well as do significant work to our exterior. We purchased a 1985 built home that needed a complete remodel, top to bottom. We obtained 3 bids for the project and all 3 were fairly competitive; however, we went with Mike because we immediately felt comfortable with him (and Pegasus had great reviews!). We did not regret our decision. Mike and Natalie were awesome to work with and we very much appreciated their great communication throughout the entire process and the fact that everything about the project is well-documented. The house turned out beautiful and the quality of work was excellent. We DID unfortunately, have a couple of issues arise, which can happen on a project our size. Due primarily to COVID and my husband's health issues, it took a while to get someone in to work on the problems, but Mike made sure all of the issues were resolved to our satisfaction; that speaks volumes to his character. We recently moved out of state and find ourselves in the same situation - with a very dated home. We had such a great relationship with Mike and value his opinion so we reached out to him to ask his opinion about our current contractor search and he was more than happy to weigh in and offer advice.

The Pegasus team is in a class of their own and they stood out from the pack on day one. We met with several contractors to bid on our project. Mike and Natalie were honest and direct in their communication and provided a thorough scope of work. At every stage, Mike and Natalie were on site to ensure the teams had a clear understanding of the tasks at hand. They truly managed all aspects of the project as project managers, anticipating problems, acting as the escalation path, managing expectations, keeping to the budget and the timeline. The team is professional, honest, and always friendly. It’s been a pleasure to work with Pegasus.

We needed to completely renovate 3 bathrooms (including the master bath), the kitchen, remove an inner partial wall, an exterior back wall, install new floors, and repaint. Our home hadn’t been redone since it was built almost 40 years ago. I interviewed ten contractors, and Pegasus came in the best. They presented us with a very detailed item list that pretty much spelled out everything we would need to do. Of course, there are always things that you cannot anticipate, and they were very fair in helping us get through those surprises. They had to get a structural engineer in to check out the back of the house as the wall had shifted, and we can rest easy, as it is now safe. We also needed to remove a partial indoor wall, and they made sure to keep that space structurally sound. The work was supposed to begin in March 2020, and we had to postpone it for 6 months. Pegasus was great in honoring the contract we had already signed. Fortunately, we’d already picked out all the fixtures we needed, and they were being stored offsite. We knew every week what to expect as far as who was going to be working, and what was going to get done. Their electricians, plumbers, mason, every sub who came in was really skilled and very adept. Mike anticipated the length of the project, and was very close to the actual amount of time it took. We had to completely gut the master bathroom, and both he and Natalie came up with great ideas of what to do in there. They were able to bring an existing gas line into our kitchen, so I could get a gas range (we had electric before). Natalie has a great eye for design, and she was so patient helping us pick out the tile, the paint, and the floors. She is also great fun to work with. Both she and Mike are very well versed in all things construction, and they know their stuff. There are always going to be a few snags. Our final cost, though it was higher than the original bid, was attributed to a few change orders from the unanticipated (hidden behind walls) items we encountered. You always hear about shady contractors who tell you that the project will cost half as much and take half the time than it ends up being. They also don’t show up when they say they will. With Pegasus, we never had that issue. They are easy to work with, have great people they work with, and are a pleasure to know. They even remembered our birthdays and anniversary! And, when we had some issues with a cabinet and some lighting, even a year later, they were happy to repair it. We cannot recommend them enough. You get what you pay for, and if you want a great job at a fair price, Pegasus is your team.

We have had Pegasus add new flooring to a our stairs and upstairs Master bedroom and bathroom , they have totally redone all 3 bathrooms and added a lot of beautiful features to all 3. Their finished look was beyond what we expected. They took all the popcorn off our ceilings and repainted .Also they painted our whole inside and put an added touch of 3inch trim molding at ceilings and footboards. They add can lighting thru the whole house with ceiling fans in all 4 bedrooms. To top it off we had them put white sutters on all our windows. Everything they did added additional beauty to our home. We love all the touches they have added ,which really brought our home up to date ! I met Mike a couple of years ago when I was looking for a contractor that would install my downstairs area with porcelain tile that looks like wood. I interviewed several contractors and I was amazed that most of them never heard of or used the mud set method to lay the tile. When I first talked with Mike, I asked him how he would lay the tile and he said mud set and that his guy has five-plus years of experience. I then spent the next few minutes being told why that was the preferred method for this particular tile. I was impressed with the upfront honest approach and the fair pricing dealing with Mike. The workers were all on time and cleaned up before they left. The finished job was outstanding. I was so impressed that I called him again a couple of months back and had him lay the leftover tile in my laundry area upstairs. While Mike was going over the area, he even pointed out that I should get the dryer vent cleaned out and put a plastic drip pan under the washer in case of a leak. The small job was done well and his one worker even cleaned the walls and left the area spotless. All in all, Mike was an upfront honest Man that took care of business and I was a happy customer.

Mike Davidson has what it takes! Pegasus has come through for at least a dozen of my best clients. He never disappoints with his quality, communication, knowledge and guts! He has what it takes to do what others just can’t. He has done at least 5 whole house remodels for the pickiest of my dozen. I’m a 21 year mega producing realtor that needs a power partner like Pegasus. I’m so glad they’re in my corner and I trust him and their whole team to care for the clients I refer. Hire him and just let him do his thing! You won’t be disappointed.

Mike helped me with the design and project for a kitchen remodel on my condo. He was extremely responsive, not just in the beginning, but also on a day-by-day basis as the plans were coming along. I have vetted his work and it is excellent, I cannot wait for the project to begin.

Mike is a true professional. We had a water pipe break that did some damage in my remodeled kitchen. He came to my home and accessed the damage. He gave me all of our options and the best way to approach repairing the damage in a timely and correct manner. This saving us money and time. Pegasus Remodeling did an excellent job!

I needed my downstairs kitchen and living room floor done with porcelain tile that looks like wood. This included 560 square feet that also covered my half bath. Pegasus also installed my new vanity and faucet. I interviewed 4 contractors before I met Mike CEO of Pegasus Remodeling. The presentation of his up to date quality workmanship and a fair price were the reasons why I went with Pegasus. Mike's step by step details was explained to me upfront with no hidden surprises. Mike was a Man of his word and there were no additional charges. All of the employees were on time, hard workers and cleaned up after their job was done. The one picture that I have attached is the baseboards being spray painted. The worker's attention to details protected the floor and walls. I have also attached a couple of pictures of the tile installation which as you can see was OUTSTANDING by a Man with years of experience and also the vanity. Mike the CEO checked in every day and made sure things went well. Pegasus Remodeling gave me outstanding service, quality workmanship all at a fair reasonable price within the time frame that was told to me at the beginning. We found Pegasus on Houzz. After meeting with Michael and inspecting a few of their remodels that were in process, and checking references, we were sold. We used Pegasus to remodel our master-and 3/4-baths. Michael listened to what we wanted, provided guidance and design ideas and made the entire process as easy as possible. When issues arose he walked us through the options available and took care of it. When one of the subcontractors made an error, Mike took full ownership and fixed it. No matter who you go with, remodeling is not a pleasant experience, it's dusty and there always seems to be a mess someplace. Ultimately there will be delays so plan for the project to go longer than expected. When the project is done all of the headaches should be forgotten when look at the end results and say "wow, it's better then I could of have ever imagined" and that is exactly how we felt when our remodel was complete. We could not be happier, thanks Michael!

Due to water intrusion damage, we had to find a general contractor to help us rebuild areas of our kitchen (new cabinets, countertops) and in the process we updated our entire first floor(new flooring and paint throughout) and completely remodeled our powder bathroom (custom built vanity). Pegasus Remodeling exceeded our expectations on all levels--personalized approach/service, quality craftsmanship, crews are professional, respectful and perform extremely clean work. We are absolutely pleased with the excellent home renovation work done by Pegasus Remodeling - they clearly exceeded our expectations and threw in many extra touches we didn’t anticipate! Once they started a room, we kept thinking of new things we wanted done and they just graciously added it to their workload. We had our master bath completed gutted, a water closet installed, all new appliances. We had our secondary bath completely remodeled, complete with new fixtures; our kitchen cabinets re-stained, new granite, backsplash, our garage walled in, the house completely re-painted - so many things done by Pegasus and everything is perfect! The owner and project manager, came in all the times to insure their crews were performing correctly. Their various crews that came in were super polite, very neat and well mannered. There was so much going on and it was all handled very professionally - we can’t recommend them enough - you’re in great hands with Pegasus!

We hired Mike Davidson/Pegasus Remodeling for a major remodel of our house in Yorba Linda in mid-2013 which included complete kitchen, master bath and closet, second bath, flooring, some windows, wood shutters throughout, and structural work. We were referred to Mike by a sales person at Ferguson which proved to be an excellent recommendation. It's rare to find someone who will care about your renovation project as much as you do...but in Michael Davidson, Owner of Pegasus Remodeling, we found a partner we could trust with our hopes, ideas and the investment of our custom home. Our project included a complete Master bedroom and ensuite bath reno, as well as the addition of an adjacent interior bath. My husband and I (ok, mostly me) are very discriminating in design, detail and materials. Michael was highly collaborative, respectfully working from my design and material choices, yet offering his valuable experience and excellent design aesthetic to maximize the potential of our project. Michael was receptive to any concerns that arose, going to bat for us to make sure things were right--sometimes at his own expense. As with many large, high-end projects, it took much longer than expected. We are thrilled with the renovation and are grateful for Michael and his team that brought it to reality.

Wow, what a fantastic experience. We hired Pegasus to remodel three bathrooms and ended up with results even better than we dreamed possible. Mike Davidson has a great eye for design and attention to detail. His workers are superb specialists who were excellent and personable. I can't imagine a terrible experience with Mike and his crew. They were all respectful, diligent and hard workers who went beyond expectations to create wonderful work. We ended up with a beautiful master bath with a double shower (one on each end wall) that included a picture window onto Catalina on the long wall between. High end fixtures, great porcelain tile, quartz countertop, new baseboards, paint and fantastic medicine cabinets. Similar upgrades were made in the 2nd and 3rd bathrooms with excellent "dream vision realized" results. I was highly impressed by Pegasus Remodeling and Mike's professionalism and eye for detail. He understood exactly what we were looking for in our remodeling and used the best materials and staff members to help. Mike is the best contractor I have worked with. We originally hired him to tear down our fireplace that had cracks in it from an earthquake. I interview 4 contractors for the job. Mike was not the lowest quote but in talking with him he seemed to know what he was doing and was not trying to snow me and gave my wife and I some great suggestions. At this time we also had him paint the house as well as install a new patio cover and gutters. Mike was a great project manager and work well with the city to get all the permits for the electrical work need for the fireplace. Within weeks of Mike finishing the first job our upstairs shower sprung a leak. I called my insurance company and then asked Mike to come take a look. Mike showed up with the insurance adjuster. At first the insurance company only wanted to pay us $10,000 but Mike instated that the insurance company do further test on the water damage and they found water sitting under our shower pan as well s on the ceiling below. Mike was able to secure me $35,000 for a new shower. Mike then worked with my wife and redesigned the bathroom and shower creating a Spa quality bathroom for us while keeping us under our budget. We are currently planning to do some new remolding and Mike will be the first and only contractor we will call.

I can't say enough good things about Pegasus remodeling. We did a complete remodel of the first floor of our house, including the kitchen, bathroom, foyer, living room, dining room and guest room. This is the first time we have ever done a remodel and had heard many contractor horror stories from friends and relatives. However, our experience with Pegasus was terrific. Mike, who is the owner and president, personally worked with us on the design and the 100's of decisions that needed to be made. He personally took us to the building material and appliance suppliers and gave us guidance on product selection. He is also very knowledgeable about the building codes, so our inspections from the city came off without a hitch. The impressive thing to me was the quality of the workmanship of all his different trade specialists. They took great pride in their work and it showed with the craftsmanship and resulting fit and finish. During the 14 weeks of the project Mike was there every day except two to be sure that everything was being implemented correctly. As customer I also appreciated his timely and frequent communication about any changes to the schedule. Everything Pegasus did met or exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Mike and his team at Pegasus. We were so pleased with their work that we are going to have them do our second floor remodel this spring. Well Pegasus completed our second story remodel and it was another great job by a first class remodeling company. Their workmanship is top notch. We were so happy again I recommended Pegasus to a friend and they will be remodeling his house. The demo starts September 2nd.

Pegasus Remodeling made a custom 91 inch vanity and granite counter top for my master bath remodel that is exceptional both in style and cost. The craftmanship is outstanding and the time it took to create the finished product was perfect and fit my busy schedule so I could monitor the installation. I will definitely contract with Pegasus in the future or other projects I have planned.
