Using 3D design software, we can design and present images of most projects before a single board is cut. Jim is an amazing craftsman who knows his trade and always does a fantastic job. He refaced my kitchen cabinets and changed the look of the entire kitchen by integrating the existing boxes, but custom making the new fronts. It looks great! Jim is also very communicative and stays on top of the project. I am a realtor and have recommended him to friends and clients, which I rarely do unless I know someone is worthy.....Jim Fox certainly is.

They provided 3 custom made solid wood doors to match the original doors in my 1900 brick Victorian. They built the doors from scratch, painted them and installed them with hardware matching the original.

Jim Fox is a true professional. He has designed original doors and stairs for us and also executed architects' designs. He had replicated antique doors and even incorporated original hardware into the new pieces. He provides detailed estimates and schedules. He is professional in every sense of the word. His workmanship is beautiful and meticulous. We use him whenever we need custom woodwork, from doors to kitchen cabinets, to stair bannisters. His prices are fair.

I am a professional artist, who met Jim in 2004, and asked him to make frames for my paintings for a show I was about to have. He did such a wonderful job, that I have had him produce all of the frames, in special sections, sizes, and wood types, since then. He has always met deadlines with beautifully crafted frames which I have hand finished. I am also familiar with his work as I originally met him through a neighbor to whose house he has added beautiful built-in cabinetwork on many occasions over the years, and they are always (and continue to be) pleased with his work.

After years of trying different carpenters for various jobs (never 100% satisfied) a friend recommended Fox Woodworking to us. Since then Jim, the owner has done numerous big and small jobs for us and we've always been 100% satisfied. My father-in-law is a carpenter by hobby and therefore my husband is used to paying extra attention to details......Jim has never failed my husband's precision scrutiny. Fox Woodworking has been precise with providing estimates, meeting deadlines and the quality of workmanship. Always a pleasure to work with.
