Travis, Nick, Zak and their entire team have transformed my house- I love it. They have helped me every step of the way with planning, permits, design and the build. They are very communicative and throughout my last year working with them I felt well informed and in good hands. Not to mention they are so kind and considerate- they are like family to me now. I appreciate the safety measures they put in place during the pandemic. I always felt safe. I also continued to live in my house while the kitchen, bathrooms and bedroom we being remodeled. If you're looking for a job well done with great project management/oversight then you should talk with them. Shoutout to Tal who kept on top of the various phases of billing and change orders. Looking forward to my next project with them!

Ryan had the best ideas for managing the flooding situation that had been happening with the heavy rains all winter and in the meantime, made the yard beautiful and a haven for our dogs. In a business that I have often found people to be unreliable in, Ivy Builders was just the opposite. Although I believe my job was smaller than some of their others, the Project Manager Zakary was professional, prompt, thorough, and answered all of my questions and many texts :) Their employees did excellent work, Ryan you run a tight ship! We have worked with a number of contractors over the years, but Travis and Ivy Builders were different. There was a level of pride and accountability that I have not experienced before now. The crew would clean up after each day of work, which was very helpful given we did such a major renovation. The transformation of the house is incredible. We removed interior walls, added a shower to bathroom, moved the kitchen and opened up 45 feet of bi-fold doors around the new living space. This was a huge undertaking that required new footers and significant structural work. Travis instilled confidence that everything was under control and that he wasn't going to cut corners and jeopardize the integrity of the structure. We are already saving and planning for the next project.

We hired Ivy Builders to do a complete remodel of our Primary Bathroom with one catch: I was 6.5 months pregnant with twins and we needed it done before I gave birth. Ivy Builders said they could handle it and we're true to their word. Someone was there, moving things forward, nearly every day. We even made some last minute additions to the plans (heated floor and towel rack) and they were able to accommodate us and still finish before the deadline. Overall, I'd recommend!

Just amazing workmanship from start to finish. I had a great experience working with Ivy Builders on my kitchen extension project. My husband and I were originally planning to hire a different company but few miscommunication mistakes from their sides made us change our mind. Ryan and Nick communicated with us so well from the moment we met them, always asking the right questions and gave us many different options and ideas in order to stick to our budget. They spent a lot of time in our project and made everything look so simple. Every challenge we had on the way, they addressed it immediately and made sure we are okay with. They stuck to their word and didn't give us any unnecessary changes. This was our first experience doing a remodel in LA. Choosing a contractor felt like Russian Roulette, as we were not familiar with any local construction businesses and had heard horror stories from various sources. We contacted Ivy Builders as they had very good customer reviews on the web. They responded quickly and Ryan was sent to manage our bathroom remodel. He was extraordinary! I called and texted that poor man morning, noon and night with my worries and he answered back quickly in a kind, knowledgeable and level-headed way. His clear intention was to make us happy with the remodel and it turned out very nicely. For the client, it is best to go in to remodeling with a clear idea of what you want, so there is little confusion, but there are always a few bumps in the road. Not only were Ivy Builders reasonably priced, they were also the only ones that were able to turn around the quote in the time they said it would take. At that moment I knew they were the company I wanted to work with for my project and am very happy I did. Ryan, the project manager worked closely with me and my wife throughout the entirety of the project ensuring we were happy and kept apprised of all happenings. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable in their craft. They made everything a breeze for us, from back office operations to mid-project changes to the scope of work to going above and beyond in their efforts. Even with us adding additional work mid-project they were still able to complete everything on time and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Searching for an honest contractor is overwhelming, I probably had 6 different contractors out to bid the job. The last one he talked to was Tal with Ivy Builders. We found him and his company via Houzz. We had purchased a property, built in 1956 that still had the original kitchen. Tal had his kitchen designer come over first, and we chose our cabinets. Once it was close enough time to the cabinets being ready, he had all his sub-contractors lined up each day. Demo in 4 hours, rough electric in a day, rough plumbing in a day, I was shocked compared to past experiences where there's tons of down time, there was barely any and that was just because it had been raining and the drywall work needed more time to dry. Long story short: Nick was very flexible with us adding different materials for the floor and adding on some extra work. We switched from vinyl flooring to tile and also adding some extra painting/mud work in two adjacent rooms to the kitchen. It took me months to write this review and the good part is everything is still working great! We'd love to work with Ivy Builders again.

If you are looking for a reliable contractor, you should call Ivy Builders. I was really impressed with Tal from the first meeting. He was friendly, and he has a lot of knowledge. I replaced my roof due to some leaks and general wear and tear. Other contractors who came to give me a bid were pricey compared to Ivy Builders. Tal and his crew finished everything in less than a week. Great experience.

I hired Ivy Builders to remodel my master bedroom and bathroom. I was very impressed with the professionalism and responsibility of Tal and Nick, the project mangers. They were always on time, and even if they were late they always made sure to notify me if that was the case. Every day when their workers arrived they were always clean and respectful to my home. I'm very happy with the result, and of course happy with the price I paid for it. I had a few other bids from other contractors before I hired Ivy Builders, and even though Tal and Nick did not come in as the lowest bid, I felt confident that they would do the best job for me. Looking back, the good feeling I had about Ivy Builders definitely paid off. I was skeptical of remodeling our kitchen because you hear so many horror stories about contractors taking too long, charging more than they say, flaking out, etc. My husband and I were in disbelief at how OPPOSITE Ivy Builders is from that. Tal and Nick are not only true to their word, totally professional, and incredibly knowledgable, but they are 2 great guys who are fun to hang out with! Also, the designer they had design our new kitchen was incredible. The layout of our finished kitchen is gorgeous. We are extremely happy with everything Ivy Builders and their guys did. Tal and Ivy Builders are the best. I bought a condo in downtown LA and wanted to renovate everything. Tal and his team helped me to completely redo my kitchen (custom cabinets, backsplash, island, etc.) and two bathrooms (marble countertops, new tiles, glass shower/bathtub doors, etc.). They also took care of all the electrical and plumbing aspects (dimmers in bathrooms are a MUST!). Tal was very professional, honest, and responsive. We were in touch almost every day and he kept me up to date on the status of everything. The renovation process was very long and there were unexpected complications but Tal made sure everything worked out and I could tell he genuinely cared. Everyone that comes over to my place LOVES how everything turned out, especially the exquisite tile work in the bathrooms. I've recommended Tal and Ivy Builders. to so many of my friends and will continue to do so because they are amazing.
