Kitchens By Design

I had a flood in my kitchen and was having issues with the preferred contractor by the insurance company. I had briefly spoken with Joy and gotten some rough ideas on project costs and some reassurance. I decided to work directly with her and the results fixed storage and layout issues. The sink was off center from the window, I had 13 small cabinets ( 2 of which were blind) and an odd counter that was not the same height and secured to the wall. The kitchen was a double corner with a small 12" area on the right by the refrigerator which she tripled by adding a cabinet pantry. After her design. I had a more functional kitchen and Joy helped me add and remove to stay in budget and yet get design features I wanted in the kitchen. I highly recommend! Joy is patient and kind and really listens to your needs and desires. I loved the original design and was able to add a few personalized touches in her design. Some design highlights are: - Double roll out trash cans (Joy suggested one be used for dog food. Genius! Fits almost 25 pound bag of food and keeps dog out of trash and food. - Roll out pantry instead of wire shelf in pantry closet (at least doubled storage space) - Beverage area with upper cabinets with glass inserts - Built in cabinets area under breakfast bar - Large drawers and roll out drawers for pots and pans - Special cabinet to hold cookie sheets and cutting boards - Corner cabinets excellent for cookbooks I can't describe how wonderful Joy and her contractor, Larry were during the whole process. It took the stress off, since a project timeline was planned and I knew where I was in the process. All the work was excellent and the pictures don't do the results justice! If you have a kitchen project go see Joy and her team! Kitchens by Design really delivers without sacrificing quality. Top notch! You won't regret working with Kitchens by Design.

Joy was the 3rd Designer we had come & discuss our kitchen renovation. She truly listened to our concerns & made the changes to allow our space to be user-friendly. She was on top of scheduling, made helpful suggestions & answered all our concerns promptly. Everyone affiliated with Kitchens by Design is professional & courteous. We are absolutely thrilled with the appearance & functionality of our new kitchen!

We were very pleased with the quality of design and product . We got 4 other bids and without s losd of quality this was without a doubt the best price. All of the subcontractors were excellent and timely. We were very involved in every decision. The time line was fully met. Highly recommend Joy and this company.
