Koyck’s recently completed a home refresh and we are ecstatic! We built our home in ‘04 with zero updates over the last almost 20 years, so it was beyond time! After contacting several other contractors who wouldn’t return calls or submit their bids after meeting with us, etc., we became very frustrated and almost decided to do nothing! UNTIL someone told us about Koyck’s Renovation and Construction! After much research (because that’s just how I am) and prayer, we elected to contact Koyck’s. Jhon promptly replied, immediately set up an appt with us, surveyed our home, discussed our desired updates while providing his professional input and great design ideas! And as promised, Jhon emailed a bid that week detailing each room with the desired work we wanted performed. We are retirees and the estimate he provided made it easy to determine the work we felt we could do now based on cost, time, our existing home structure, etc. Unlike most contractors who have multiple projects going on simultaneously, which often times extends the completion time a great deal, Koyck’s completes the job from start to finish in a very timely manner. This was key for us! To demonstrste the scope of the project ,our home refresh consisted of all new paint throughout (all walls, trim, ceilings), kitchen remodel (reconstructed island and pillars, new quartz countertops/backsplash, sink ), 2 bathrooms (vanities, quartz countertop/backsplash, sinks and faucets, new toilets, grab bars, etc), reconstructed fireplace, all new light fixtures throughout the home, dimming switches, ceiling fans, etc. He installed our new front door with smart technology hardware, new porch lights and patio ceiling fan. Our once, “old world” decor, is now a fresh updated modern look that we absolutely love! I was so pleased with the work along the way that I wanted to share our journey….hence, the pics. We have been over the top thrilled with every aspect of our new home and it’s because of Koyck’s! Any little thing we found throughout the project and pointed out to them were immediately addressed with perfection! I am a bit OCD about things, and I can speak from the heart that this small business cares about their customers! We did not know Jhon or his crew personally prior to the project, but we developed enormous trust and faith in his business…. So much that we actually left our home and stayed at our daughter/son-in-law’s lake property during the entire project. Koycks will always be our go-to for future home renovations. They are a locally-owned small business who demonstrates professionalism, kindness, are of utmost character, hardworking, quality workmanship and strives to exceed customer expectations! They far exceeded mine, for sure. Ask for referrals, you will hear the same things I’m sharing here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have struggled for months to find a contractor to help me with various projects, including kitchen cabinetry, window reframing, installing flooring. Several contractors have come out and I’ve found myself having to follow up repeatedly for quotes or they are no shows for my projects, etc. When reaching out to Koyck’s Renovations, not only were they incredibly responsive, but professional and efficient as well. Very pleased and will be referring them to everyone I know!

Don’t let this company destroy your kitchen!! Koyck's Renovation & Construction, LLC. claims that their mission is to always provide quality services and that customer satisfaction is their top priority. When we expressed our concerns after the first few coats, Koyck’s Renovation & Construction became defensive and dismissive, telling us that we didn't know anything about paint. When Koyck’s Renovation & Construction returned the next day to ‘fix’ the issues, they ended up sanding portions of our cabinets and doors down to the primer, leaving us with a ton of unevenness and doing nothing to fix the issues as it still looks awful. When we expressed our concerns for a second time, he never asked what the issue was or requested photos/to come inspect the damages. He’s never seen the third coat dry. We're extremely disappointed and shocked by the quality of their work. Our brand new cabinet and drawer faces are scratched to pieces, there are textures and drips literally everywhere, portions that weren't painted at all, sanding dust CAKED on and painted over, there is overspray on our walls AND paint on our brand new countertops. There isn’t a SINGLE surface without flaw. We provided Koyck with two options: either sand down our cabinets completely before making the third attempt to repair them, or provide us with his insurance information. At that time, he opted for the latter. After not providing us with his insurance he began making counteroffers. Koyck's Renovation & Construction has offered to return our deposit plus some additional funds and his most recent offer of the full amount of the job; however, three other contractors have assessed the damages and have informed us that our brand new doors and drawers are beyond repair and the amount offered by Koyck's Renovation & Construction is insufficient to even begin to cover the damages caused by his company. Despite our requests for their insurance information, Koyck's Renovation & Construction has failed to provide it to us. As a small business owner myself, I preferred to pursue the option of going through his insurance rather than causing any financial burden on him but he has repeatedly stated that his agent will contact us and he is not permitted to disclose his insurance details. Despite our attempts to remain civil and patient, the situation has become ridiculous. It is my OPINION that this is the WORST company that could have done the job. If you want your cabinets looking like ours, give him a call.
