With the anticipation of defending this unfortunate review, I would like to shed some light on the subject with some plain facts. The initial budget for this project was set at 22,157.00 for the kitchen plus 5,060.00 for a bar, many changes were made over a period of 3 months from the first meeting , some parts being added, some removed, such as the bar option, and a final price quoted to the client of 23,620.00. A work order was then produced & plans finalized at that exact same cost of 23,620.00, at which point the client approved, signed, and paid the standard 35% deposit. Twelve weeks after that approval, cabinets were delivered, and remaining balance paid, cabinet installation was completed within 3 days, with the exception of 1 small piece of crown moulding that was short. That piece was finished 2 weeks after.
Our lead-times change, ranging from 8-14 weeks, however an approximate time is given before the client signs, then within 5 days after that, we pin point the delivery time. All clients are able to take as much time as they need, and are able to alter plans before approving them, for budget purposes, or to suit their wants. During those changes, estimates are given to how they will affect the cost. Simple truth is that this project was completed for exactly what was agreed upon, and being accused of overcharging is not only upsetting and untrue, but also befuddling on a few levels, considering we were asked to bid on another project within the home., and we delivered the original top quality product at the time given, and never charged 1 cent more.
