Master Care Home Remodeling of New Orleans

We hired Master Care to repair some water damage in our master bathroom. The project started out small, then turned into a major renovation when we discovered that the shower was the cause of the water damage. They demolished the shower and installed a beautiful whirlpool tub complete with tiled walls. Jose and his team exceeded our expectations. They were all very trustworthy and professional throughtout the process. We are extremely happy with the results and I highly recommend master care to anyone in need of home repairs or remodels. I will be using them for any future work needed on my house.

Jose and the team were amazing. Had some damage in the bathroom of my home and the living room as well and they came and took care of it IN NO TIME AT ALL! They did such a good job. The crew was prompt, fast, professional, and hardworking. Would have taken me months to do what they did in a week!

I manage all repairs for 3 rental houses as well as the property owners large house and my own home. For the first few years I used several different contractors and even some average Joe's off of craigslist, always leading to mixed results (jack of all trades, but masters of none, or completely unreliable, both in timeliness and quality). Then I came across Jose's website and decided to hire him for several odd jobs at the apartments. That was 4 years ago. Since then I've used Jose and his crews exclusively for all of the repairs and remodeling projects over. Items ranging from small repairs (broken faucet, damaged trim, drywall repair, painting, etc.) to renovating entire houses after a hurricane. Jose and all of his workers have always been very professional - clear communication from start to finish (especially helpful when having to schedule the repairs around the current tenants schedule), trustworthy (I never hesitate to let Jose and his crew preform work inside any one of the properties when someone is not around) and their work is always top notch. I especially appreciate how Jose and his group can personalize any repair. In the past they've helped me by doing things such as keeping the apartment clean for the occupying tenant while performing major renovation after a hurricane (not an easy feat as anyone who has ever encountered 'contractors dust' before knows), working around the sometimes crazy schedule of myself or tenants and always working with me on any budget issues, to name a few. If you have ever had to deal with another contractor you will notice and appreciate the difference from start to finish that Jose and his crew provide. His team is always my sole recommendation to friends and family looking for a contractor for any size job.

This was a repair of water damage caused by Hurricane Isaac in Sept, 2012. The house is 3500 sq-ft that was totally re-built in 2008. Wind blew shingles off sections of the roof and water flowed freely down the CBD side walls onto the 1st and 2nd floor ceilings. Master Care was called because they had done work for the homeowner on some of his rental houses; they were quick to respond. The work was completed and we moved back into the house in early April, 2013. Master Care acted as the general contractor using appropriate subs for electrical, HVAC, A/V systems, roof (changed from asphalt to metal) as well as using his own workers to quickly secure the house after the storm and then repair/replace damaged drywall, finish trim, exterior wall (replaced damaged wood with cement board) and repaint these areas to match the original colors. Their work reports/invoices were exceptional in detail of both manpower and materials used for a given week. Their management of the sub's included insistence on proper insurance and liability documentation. Sub's were selected by Master Care; work did not start until the sub had submitted a scope of work with detail costs and these were approved by Master Care and the homeowner. Master Care worked closely with the homeowner to resolve any questions or problems during and after the completion of the sub-contracted work. Working with Master Care was a pleasure especially given the circumstances. Their work and that of their subs was excellent. The detailed work reports/invoices allowed us to collect 100% of our claimed costs from our insurance company. Would we hire them again....yes......we still use them when the rental units need repairs.

Jose and his company was responsive with the estimating process. All the planning and designing was done in timely manner with a very detailed estimate. I met with a couple more contractors and received other estimates and while Master Care Services was a bit on the “higher end”; the detailed proposal, design knowledge, and standing behind his work made me to decide hiring his company. Jose's crew started the job and finished it just like it was outlined in the proposal with finishing the project one day earlier than estimated. Our kitchen looks Fabulous! We are very happy with how it came out! The custom cypress cabinets look amazing! I would hire Master Care Services again for any future renovations. Thank you! Denise.

Jose with Master Care was extremely professional, knowledgeable of both the work that had to be done and the city remodeling and building codes I had to get permits for. He was very personable with great communicating skills to suggest ideas that I wouldn't have thought about and we're absolutely SATISFIED with the end result! We now know we made the right choice. He and his crew were respectful and most of all showed the extensive experience which helped seal the notion that I had made the right decision in contracting this company. Some of the things that were very apparent was the solid team of subcontractors, the ability or creativity to transform my ideas into my home, his professional track record or experience - which shows. Master Care recently installed a new roof on my house and I am fully satisfied with their workmanship, choice of materials and timeliness. This company has done work for me in the past and I was pleased with their work. My only negative comment is that their prices seem to be on the high end, but the quality of their work is exemplary.

When I found water coming through the ceiling at my rental property, my first call was to MasterCare. Jose and his team came over immediately, quickly began mitigating the damages and was able to completely remove and replace a ceiling in no time. They even carefully removed my in-ceiling speakers and were able to keep them from getting damaged. They were professional, responsive and very reasonably priced for the work they performed at my property. I have since used MasterCare for large and small jobs at my property and would recommend them to anyone needing an honest, hardworking contractor.
