Modern Kitchen & Bath Designs

I don't like to write bad reviews. People are in business and should be given some grace. HOWEVER, my experience was so bad with Jason, I feel I need to let future potential customers know. I will share a short version here. If you want the whole story, send me a message. We decided to go with Modern Kitchen and Bath because they had the tiles and fixtures we wanted. There was the first problem... They didn't ACTUALLY have them. We were promised a 3 day window to get the materials in, and start working. We took vacation time to be available for the project. Well... they did NOT show up, and to make it worse, Jason lied and said he never promised a delivery date, when it was written down by my wife at the time. So we lost our vacation time. Then we were promised that his father David would be the one actually working on the bathroom. NOPE! After 4 additional times not showing up on days promised to start working ( again, 4 more days off work ), he sent some guy who just came over from China. Not a lick of English, didn't know how to install tiles, had no wet-saw but used a grinder to cut our very expensive tiles, smoked in our house twice when told not to, and completely botched the tub surround. He also used floor tile cement rather than wall tile mastic. COMPLETELY BOTCHED! Summary of more issues... Broke our plumbing ( which I had to fix ), cut the floor tiles wrong, broke the toilet, cut the wanes-cote wrong, and filled our entire home with a thick layer of tile dust from the grinder. He refused to fix any issues, or to offer our money back. We had to hire another contractor and completely remove all the work he did. It was horrible. Then ignored any attempt to contact him. I am sorry I have to write this, but we are out over $6000, plus another $8000 to fix it. And Jason has not even attempted to help. David

I gave modern kitchen a 5star...I told Jason/owner/architect/contractor/ How I wanted My kitchen to look like and booom he got it right away. His very good with his design,very modern,excellent quality cabinets,quartz,exhaust,faucet .he did alot of work for a good prize,he is flexible,friendly easy to work with and professional...would love to hire them again if needed!!!all my friends and family love my new kitchen,Thanks to Jason and the crew..
