Sami Behzad and his team just completed remodeling a guest bathroom for me. This is the second project he has done; the first being a total kitchen remodel a year and a half ago. I was so pleased with my kitchen remodel that there was no question Sami would remodel my guest bath. I love the way it turned out! The work started on the date Sami said it would and was completed on time as well. I always knew what tradesman was scheduled for each day and what work they were doing/how long it would take. Sami came by quite often to check on the progress and keep me updated. He is quick to respond to calls/texts. Sami takes pride in the business he runs and wants people to be happy with their project. My husband and I are already planning to have him remodel our master bath in about 6 months, that’s how much confidence we have in him. Not to mention, he’s a great guy!

We came to Morena Home Design late in the game on a major home remodel as the GC and his crew essentially left us high and dry. We were referred to Sami and from the first meeting we knew we had the firm to complete the tiling of our home. timetable was outlined and Sami told us what to expect going forward. His crew were phenomenal and their attention to detail was unmatched. We are so happy with everything and are looking to moving into our completed home

If you are looking for the best contractor, look no further. Sammy Morena is top notch, from design, to meeting at store to pick out tiles, to suggestions, to giving a timeline that is met. And his workers are nothing short of phenomenal, all specialists in their trade. How many times have we all heard stories of contractors not fulfilling their project timelines, Sammy told us how long it would take and his guys would be there everyday except Sundays until the job was done. And he is there everyday during the project to advise what’s happening to make sure we understand what occurs everyday and answer any of our questions. We hired Sammy for our bathroom remodel and couldn’t be more pleased. I cannot recommend him enough.

We had the absolute best experience working with Sami on our master bath remodel. I would give him 10 stars if I could! We've done lots of home renovation projects over the years on our personal residences and investment properties; Sami is hands down the best general contract we've ever used. He was always available to answer questions, returned calls in a timely manner, and showed up on time, every time with a smile. He provided us with a schedule of work and finished the job on time. He kept all the subs moving and all the balls in the air. His subs were top notch and worked full days to accomplish their part of the remodel. He also is a designer and accompanied me to tile shops and slab yards to purchase just the right materials. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined and we now have a beautiful master bath to enjoy. Thank you for everything, Sami!

This is my second time using this company. First time was the bathrooms. This time update on my kitchen. It looks amazing! As per usual, Sami and his team were professional, cleaned up each day, courteous and most of all, their workmanship is the best! I cannot say enough about this company. I’m planning to use them again for my carpets. Sami used to own a carpet and flooring company too. He also has a design background which helps me a lot as I’m a totally visual person and not a conceptualist. The final product was well worth what I paid. Thank you Sami!

Morena Home Design just completed remodeling our master bathroom. Sami is a designer and a contractor. He gave us ideas which saves us money and looks much better. He is friendly but very professional. From day one, Sami presented us with a detailed schedule. Every day he kept us informed which crew will be coming the next day and what time. Sami had a professional crew. The crew stayed until their work is finished. At the end of the day, they cleaned the work area. The work was completed on schedule and within the budget. My kitchen and dining remodel was just completed by Morena Home Design, and I am beyond happy with the outcome! Sami Behzad, the owner, has been in this industry for many years. He has a strong work ethic, is detail oriented, responds quickly to texts, emails and phone calls. Sami keeps you informed on what the work will be from day to day, and he is on the job site almost daily checking on the progress of the work. He has excellent rapport with his tradesmen— most who have been with him for a long time. In fact, I learned that some are second generation, their fathers having worked for Sami in the past. Did I mention that Sami is fun to work with? I love his outgoing personality and his design sense. He kept me from making some design mistakes and worked hard to help me and my husband keep our budget. Sami delivered on our start date and our completion date. After a breather we have another project for him!

"Sami was a pleasure to work with" is an understatement. His professionalism and work ethic have no equal. He swooped in, designed our dream kitchen in his head in a matter on minutes, and scheduled all the subs to flow in perfectly. We hit a snag with a load bearing wall and his plan around it I actually liked better than removing it. He filled every minute of everyday with productive work. He made our first renovation seamless and really very enjoyable. My husband has always dreamed of having his modern white and silver kitchen and Sami gave him exactly what he has always dreamed of. This is it in a nutshell: We hired Morena Home Design Inc. (mostly on the recommendation of a friends who had their kitchen remodeled) to remodel our slightly dated and somewhat dysfunctional kitchen. We received exactly what we had told him we wanted, however Sami also provided a number of good design suggestions. The remodel project went as planned/scheduled. Behzad Sami (Sami) uses only the best trade-persons. Each of the individual painters, electricians, cabinet makers, plumbers, granite cutters/installers and tile installers were the absolute best at what they do. They were friendly, communicative and masked up when in our home. Their highest skills and professionalism were beyond what we could ever have expected and made our end-result kitchen magnificent. Sami puts the best people together to do the job right, and just as important, keeps it on schedule. Trust us; you don’t want to be without a functioning kitchen for any longer than you have to. If you want a minor or major kitchen remodel, you should call him and see what he and his team can do for you. I would do it again.

We decided to remodel our severely outdated master bathroom and wanted to find a good contractor. Our previous projects with our kitchen and a different bathroom remodels did not go well and were expensive disappointments. Sami handled our project professionally from start to finish. He was organized, accountable, always respnded quickly to any text or email. His taste is impeccable. Sami guided us through the initial design process by going with me to make tile selections. He sent photos of design ideas for tubs, sconces, vanity, and more. He steered me to lower cost options and vendor for products that look and function just as well as higher priced options. Sami's team did excellent work and was considerate of our home, leaving the jobsite neat every night. There were no excuses or delays on this project, and Sami was on site every day to oversee progress. It turned out great!

I hired Sami to do a cosmetic refresh on my house, which ranged from all new flooring, cabinetry upgrades, fixtures, bathrooms, and paint. Sami provided a detailed quote and timeline. I couldn’t have been happier with his execution and he finished to the week he committed. There were no changes to the budget except for a few things we ran into, which was entirely due to the age of the house and had to be properly fixed. We were in fact so happy with his work that we then hired Sami to do the flooring and paint in our new home just weeks later and he did the same amazing job. I can’t recommend Sami highly enough and we’ll definitely be using him again! Thank you Sami!

Sami and his team have been extraordinary. Though our job was small ( updating two bathrooms), he made us feel that it was as important as his largest job, which is a rarity in today's construction world. He comes by daily to check on the job site and his crew, performing any troubleshooting that is needed. He's easy to reach should any questions or concerns arise. Sami is a perfectionist, which sits very well with me since I'm a very detailed oriented person. We all have choices and I evaluated a number of contractors. before making my final decision. Sami is eager for the work, no matter large or small. He's busy and there is a reason for that. He knows his business and he does his job well. He is really in a league of his own insofar as competition from other contractors, many of whom are not dependable. In the end, my husband and I felt very comfortable with our choice as we received truly professional care from a great team. We plan to have Sami and his crew do more updating work in our home.

We decided on a home remodel and interviewed several contractors. When Sami came over it was a done deal. He pulled up in an awesome Dodge Ram (I think he was sitting on a phone book to see over the steering wheel!) and came in with a Bosch laser ruler. It took no time to realize he was getting the job. He is not only a contractor, he is also an interior designer, a former owner of a tile company and now a personal friend. His knowledge of design and material is impressive and made this remodel a success and super enjoyable. Sami gave advice on the most expensive path and the least expensive path, letting us know along the way which way we could go with what we wanted to do. Sami's crews are amazing, from the tile guys to the painter to the electrician, I had no reservations about leaving them alone in my house and leaving my house open for them to do their jobs. It is definitely a major strength in choosing Sami, his crews will give you confidence and their work ethic will make you happy. Sami is the most organized contractor I have dealt with, keeping the contracts and change orders in a file for easy access and making the process as seamless as a remodel can be. I could go on but suffice it to say, it feels like I have a new house. Thank you, Sami!!!

We have used Morena Home Design for both phases of our condo remodel. The first phase encompassed a total kitchen remodel, new flooring in the front half of the unit, painting, plumbing, and electrical. The results were fantastic and the team was efficient and easy to work with. Sami's design suggestions gave an extra spark to the results. The 2nd phase encompassed continuing the same ceramic flooring throughout the remainder of the unit, repair of water damage to the ceiling, painting, and electrical. Again the entire project was accomplished quickly and efficiently with the same excellent results. We will eventually be also remodeling our two baths. We will be using Morena Home Designs for those projects. Sami is a pleasure to work with. He thinks of his clients as his friends.
