SWAN BUILDING AND DESIGN

Stephen did a major kitchen and bath project that involved doubling the size of my kitchen and building a new laundry room and bathroom. Stephen, his crew, and his subcontractors were awesome. He is absolutely meticulous in every detail including budgeting, scheduling, construction, selection and oversight of subs, and finish work. This included air filters during demolition and painting and an immaculate construction area at the end of each day. Stephen responded immediately to all emails, texts, and phone calls even on weekends and evenings. He was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him.

I hired Stephen Swan for an extensive kitchen remodel designed by Kathy Rogers of Sogno Design Group (see photos for Montclair Kitchen, Oakland CA). In short, Stephen did an excellent job and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him. I was impressed by Stephen’s planning skills, selection and management of subs, aesthetic sense, quality of work/attention to detail, problem solving and communication style. With the exception of a few change orders which were fair and mutually agreed upon (e.g., adding new outlets, fixing a long-standing plumbing problem) Stephen stuck to his budget and his schedule for payments. My kitchen exceeded my expectations. I love it!
