Live Oak Landscape is a small, design and construction company located in Berkeley and serving nearby Bay Area communities within a 40 mile radius. Owner, Neil Collier grew up in the Edinburgh Botanic Garden in Scotland and spent some years in England and Australia and now has lived in California many years. In his garden design and construction he blends old world tradition and charm with Mediterranean and Californian style. In our small company, each client receives personal attention. Neil is present on every job site to direct four experienced landscape technicians and to assure the highest possible quality of work. Our services include garden design consultations, full design, or construction from landscape architect drawings, as well as owner initiated designs. Live Oak Landscape can design, plan and execute construction of full gardens, or work along side an owner who wishes to direct and participate in the work. Neil has a wide knowledge of plants, especially native plants. We specialize in patios, decks, stonework, retaining walls, fences, arbors,and low maintenance gardens. We also do drainage, irrigation, lighting and repair work. We have a history of reliability and customer satisfaction and can provide references for all types of work and locations.
