Liz Hendry Garden Design

I specialize in the design and installation of drought tolerant, pollinator friendly gardens in the Conejo Valley. My gardens thrive in our unique micro climate of cold wet winters and hot dry summers. Before devoting myself to full time garden design, I worked as a Creative Director in corporate advertising on visually iconic brands like Fiji Water, Pom Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios and Teleflora Flowers. In advertising, I learned the tenets of good design; composition, color, balance and contrast. Now as a garden designer, I apply those same principles to the natural world. Creative collaboration is another skill honed during my years in advertising. l love working with clients and helping them create their dream yards and outdoor living spaces. Every project is the result of a team effort between me, my clients and the beauty of our natural world. I hold a BA from the University of Wisconsin Madison and additional design education from The School of Visual Arts, New York.
