We were supposed to start our deck and planters project in March 2023, and Paul assured us it would be completed 3 weeks later. We removed our existing deck and had a hazardous drop-off from our kitchen slider for months before he finally started. All summer he would show up for a couple of days, then disappear - promising to come back and failing to, and eventually avoiding any promises at all. It's now February 2024 and the project is about 60% complete. Most of our back yard is unusable, and I'm trying to get a commitment to at least finish the project this April - a year after he said it would be done. But I can't get a reply from him, which I now know is typical. Avoid working with this builder at all costs.

McKechnie Associates designed and built a portico on the front of my house to give it more character. The end result was beautiful. I am extremely happy with the work. Paul and his crew were very professional at all times. They answered all the questions I had about the process. The crew who did the job worked extremely hard. It is very easy to see they take pride in the work they do and do not take shortcuts. I have received many compliments from neighbors on how nice the portico looks. I highly recommend McKechnie associates and plan on using them again to put in a new walkway in the near future.
