Ash has a great taste to design an authentic Japanese zen and morden garden, and also is very experienced and hard working. He worked for my frant and back yard for about 8 months in this year, and made it a master piece, which I love it so much. He discussed all the details with me for every step , and sometimes he not only gave his professional advice, but did his best to convince me, which eventually turned to be better. If you want to have a unique beautifual Asian style garden, not matter zen or morden, you can fully trust him to make your dream a reality for you.

Atsushi (Ash) is a meticulous and creative soul, classically trained in Kyoto, and ready to adapt to the realities of Western Canada. You would think a Pacific city like Vancouver would have many people who do what Ash does, but there aren't, and I don't know why. This makes him all the more precious and important to work with. Ash is terrific on overall visions for a space, and is also terrific with lighting and irrigation. He also gets very physically into his work, almost becoming part of the yard itself while he works. This is admirable and rare in North America. I will say that if there is anything you do or don't want to keep or change on your property, you will have to fight very very hard to win your case, as Atsushi is hardcore and he could perhaps relax just a bit on his demands. :). That is said in the spirit of friendship, and, his work always ends up looking sensational and I hope to continue working with Ash for many years to come. You will have a complex and rich experience working with Ash.

My husband and I have considered it fortunate to have come to know and hired Ouka Landscape and Design for our landscaping project. It has been a fantastic experience working with Ouka. The designer demonstrated his skills and professionalism immensely in his work. He identified significant issues of the site and addressed them in the final design, taking into account our wishes and feedback.
