About Us
Based in Newport Rhode Island, Place studio specializes in designs for private residences, commercial and institutional clients. Designing the landscape is a team collaboration between the designer, the client and the builder. Place studio designs distinctive landscapes that respond to the existing cultural and natural contexts of the site, always seeking to find the balance between man and nature, the traditional and the new.
Place studio Landscape Design was founded in 2005 by Tanya Kelley.

Awards
Tanya received a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the Rhode Island School Design in 2001 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Landscape Architecture from the City College of The City of New York in 1999.
