Disaster! Silver Mist hired to design and implement a new landscape plan: remove existing shrubs and areas overgrown with perennials and weeds; install 130 new plants. Scheduled for fall 2015- showed up in December! With snow, couldn’t confirm what was installed or whether work was complete. We expressed concern about the time of planting and work completeness - owner became rude and demanded final payment. In spring, determined only 2/3 of required plants were installed, many didn’t survive, and some were the wrong plants. More important, pre- existing perennials and weeds were not removed before install. So most new plants were comingled with existing root stock and beds became quickly overgrown. Silver Mist refused to correct faulty work or warrantee plants. “We have been paid – we’ve moved on” was their response. We filed a legal claim, and received a favorable judgment. We are now digging up plants, separating intermingled roots, and replanting the beds. It’s a mess!
