The Garden Planner

I met Debi at the Toronto Canada Blooms show years ago and that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship and Backyard. Debi worked with me to develop a fantastic landscape plan that truly maximizes our urban yard to be an amazing Urban oasis. I would recommend her and her talents to anyone. She is professional, caring of your time and needs and reasonably priced for the value she delivers.

I met Debi McKeller at the Toronto Home Show, ad this was the pivotal moment in our landscaping project. It very quickly became evident that I had found the right person for the job. Debi planned and designed our outdoor retreat, including a garden house, a BBQ alcove and a stunning cedar deck overlooking an array of shrubs and flowering plants. Debi exhibits all the qualities one looks for in a landscape planner/designer; professionalism, knowledge, patience, and an affable customer-oriented demeanor. Debi’s understanding of our needs, her expertise and her detailed plan, delivered on our expectations, and culminated in a beautiful outdoor sanctuary—an oasis in the city. As a testimony to Debi’s attributes and our complete trust in her work ethic, we hired her to work on a second property. She is not only our designer, she is a person that we will forever call our friend. Thank you Debi, your talents are unparalleled.

Debi McKellar with the Garden Planner, completed a landscape design for our back yard in 2013, when we were in the process of installing an inground swimming pool. Her work was exemplary in that she was thorough, accurate, conscientious, taking our wishes into account every step of the way. Debi was always punctual and respectful towards us in the way she carried out her work. She researched the project well and ensured close consultation with the pool installation company and paving company. Debi took into account our budget, her fees were reasonable and she made efforts to preserve desirable features of our existing landscaping. At the same time Debi demonstrated vision and imagination - she was able to think outside the box and presented some great ideas for our consideration. It was definitely a job done well, without any hitches along the way. In addition Debi is a very personable professional and overall it was a pleasure working with her. We would definitely use the Garden Planner again in the future.

I found out about Debi's business at Canada Blooms. I like the display that she had planned because it integrated decorative and kitchen garden elements. When I called, I found her to be courteous and professional. We discussed what I wanted my yard space to provide and she created an innovative and user friendly design that I instantly fell in love with. It was clearly drawn up in colour and a recommended plant list was included. I enjoyed working with Debi and discovering all the beauty and comfort my front and back yard could provide with a little expert planning.
