The Landscape Group

We were referred to Jon from several neighbors who were pleased with his designs. Jon was great. He stopped by to discuss what we wanted done with the front and back gardens. After a few weeks he provided us with a design for the front and back of the house. We requested some changes and he quickly made them. The design looks great and we're excited to have the landscaping done this Spring.

We used The Landscape Group to design a master plan for our new construction house including a patio, fire pit, grill area, spa, fencing and planting. We had some specific requirements because we have dogs that we wanted to have an area outside that would not interfere with our use of the yard or entertaining. Jon took the time completely understand our needs and designed an excellent plan. He kept us involved throughout the process and made sure we were able to provide feedback as he completed the design. We also appreciated his expertise in plant selection so that our yard will look good year round, grow well, and survive the local deer. We will definitely use The Landscape Group if we have any future projects and highly recommend them.

Great job by the Landscape Group of not only rescuing sunken brick walkways and rear patio but offering creative solution to improve area by replacing 25 yr old pressure-treated retaining wall with EP Henry block with improved and wider opening to space (see before/after photos).

Jon and his workers were great. Jon had lots of ideas on how to execute my project and was intelligent and professional. His team was professional and easy to work with as well. The few small things I pointed out to them to be corrected were handled immediately. I would definitely use them again!

I'm half of the Perlstein's whose pool renovation Jon Apple is currently featuring. My wife and I are thrilled to give Jon a great review because we are happy with the result and Jon was very easy to work with. If we could give more than five stars, or at least add a plus , we would do so because he deserves it. Gushing? Maybe so, but in more than forty years of residential and commercial property ownership, I have learned that finding a creative, competent and reliable designer or contractor who is easy to work with is very difficult. There was minimal stress in dealing with Jon and to us this is invaluable. Our pool needed to be redone. We didn't want the same old...The pool area was lush but overgrown. Time for a complete update but on a budget. We were referred to Jon Apple by Michael Raphael, a local architect. Jon is creative and extremely patient. We delayed the project. This didn't faze Jon. We kept revising the budget. This didn't faze Jon. We kept changing the plans. This didn't faze Jon. After installation we expressed our dislike of certain things. This didn't faze Jon. At every turn he proved that all he wanted to accomplish was pleasing us, the client, so that when the project was over we'd be happy. He gave us what we wanted at the price we could afford. And he is creative. He definitely thinks outside the box and in an imaginative and aesthetically pleasing way. We never would have thought of installing the charcoal gray pool plaster that Jon recommended. Now, all of our friends who have seen it are in love with it. It makes the pool look like a pond blending in with the surroundings. The concrete patio had to "go" but who else but Jon would have thought of laying the "gravel lok" on top of it? Again, everyone who has seen it, from workers to guests, remarks on how much they like it. It is now October and Jon has finished the planting and stone work around the pool. It is unfortunate that there are no photos to show the new plants and boulders and the stone "bridge" to a little zen spot for my wife. I can add them in the spring. Jon provides creative, tasteful imagination, a stress free relationship, fair pricing and excellent work. He closely supervises what he is responsible for doing and works hard and well to coordinate with other contractors. We couldn't have done this without him. He deserves five stars, and at least a "+" in addition.

Absolutely the best Landscape Architect. The project was a shot at innovation, and custom design that worked beautifully and exceeded my expectations. As a designer I would highly recommend and use The Landscape Group again and again.

With a 200 year old Bucks County farm house that needed some new landscaping along the front of our house. We had some large specimen plants that we wished to retain as well. We relied on the work ethic, knowledge, professionalism of his employees, and the experience of Jon Apple. Jon provided a written plan and scope of work, with a fair estimate. Jon and his employees stuck to the plan, time line and the clean up. The estimate was honored. We have had people drive past our home, stop in to complement us on the landscaping of our house; they always ask us who did the landscaping. We refer them to Jon. We highly recommend Jon and will use his services again.

I had the privilege to work with Jon Apple and his team on transforming my flat, non-descript back yard into a magnificent, multi-leveled pool, deck and surrounding landscape worthy of a fine resort. It is truly the prettiest outdoor space I have seen. Jon and his crew were professional, efficient and accommodating. Jon was able to offer ideas, accommodate my ideas when appropriate, and create a pleasant work atmosphere, while digging up my backyard. Jon has been responsive over the last 3 years whenever I have a question or a concern. He doesn’t hesitate to consult with me in person, or to send out someone to maintain his good work. I knew that Jon and the Landscape Group were good by reputation, but I was pleased well beyond my expectations.

We have worked with John and the Landscape Group on numerous projects over the past 23 years and have always had a great experience with him. He has done complete landscaping design and installation projects for us, patio and walkway construction, and outdoor kitchen design and construction. John Apple is creative with wonderful ideas and his implementation is always excellent. We have used The Landscape Group for 19 years. Jon Apple is reliable, easy to work with and creative. He has designed and implemented many landscape beds for us in the front, sides and rear of our property, along with lighting in the beds, highlighting the trees and accenting the house. He has done hardscaping for us as well - both in the front leading up to the door, as well as a large patio in the back. He also landscaped around our pool so beautifully - we feel like it is an oasis. I highly recommend this group.

The Landscape Group designed my backyard and pool area in 2005. I also just had Jon Apple redesign my front landscaping in 2104. His landscape designs are amazing, with a very relaxed and natural feel. The plantings are chosen to have color all season long. The work is completed quickly and professionally by his team of workers. I would not hesitate to use his group again. Beautiful work!

The Landscape Group installed a stone patio and steps. Jon Apple was a pleasure to work with throughout the project, from the design stage thru final installation. He was thoroughly professional, personable, and meticulous and his crew was careful, precise and very hard working. The final result is spectacular.
