About Us

We are a Professional Landscape Design & Installation Contracting Company Serving The San Gabriel Valley Area. Owner Paul Contreras Sr. started Tierra Verde Landscape Maintenance in 1977. In 1980 Paul Sr. started landscape installation with the help of William G. "Bill" Hynek, a Landscape Architect, mentor & friend who would work with Paul for the next 30 years. Bill passed in 2011. Today, Tierra Verde has in house Landscape Architects who design water wise, colorful & functional landscapes for residential & businesses. We pride ourselves in being able to give more to our clients through all of our experience over the years.

Tierra Verde did a great job of landscaping my front and back yards. Paul was very patient and worked within my budget. Ana did a wonderful job of drawing up a landscape design including all the plants, trees and stepping stones. I had a new concrete driveway and walkways poured and they turned out beautiful. Everything was done in a timely manner. The crews cleaned up after themselves and were on time and polite. I would highly recommed working with Tierra Verde. My yard looks beautiful and I have received lots of compliments.
