Utilized the services of Urban Sanctuaries to completely remove existing, overgrown landscaping and provide entirely new landscaping. Project included demo/removal with heavy equipment, re-shaping of all plant beds to manage water/drainage, French drain installation, provide/place boulders, design new plant layout, provide all new plants, mulching, etc. The design Urban Sanctuaries came up with is excellent - great mix of plants. We could not be happier with the design/layout of new plants/trees, the quality of work, timeliness from start to completion. Noone in our neighborhood has the mix of plants we now have. Urban Sanctuaries is very easy to work with, very cost effective/fairly priced, very trustworthy. I give them the highest recommendation possible in a day when getting a company to do what they say, when they say they will do it has become more and more difficult. This is the second time I have utilized their services, and am already thinking about some other things I will have them do for me.

Jeffrey has always provided us with superior Horticultural expertise! After we built our home, we consulted with Jeffrey on what plants to put where in the yard based on sunlight, color and their relationship to each other. Everything has worked out beautifully 8 years later. He can tell you the scientific name of just about anything that grows and what it's characteristics are. Jeff makes himself easily accessible to his clients. He is a pleasure to work with. Horticulture is his life and it is apparent that it is his love also.

Great job at taking the time and having the expertise to help design and transform my yard into a landscape project I have always dreamed of. I have used UrbanSancturaries on several occasions for my fathers landscaping needs. They have planted various plants for my father. One area that needed work was in the back of my fathers house. He has a hillside that has a steep grade and Jeff did a great job of choosing plants that would hold up on this steep bank and also made sure their were plants that had pretty blooms with various colors. He has a great knowledge of plants that I do not. I think UrbanSanctuaries is very affordable and has so much knowledge of plants and landscape design. I have been working with Urban Sanctuaries for the past 6-7 years. Jeff has been my go-to source for information, plant selection, layout, design and installation. His knowledge and experience in the world of landscape plants and trees is astonishing and unmatched in my opinion. His focus is never about rushing through the job and planting cookie-cutter style plants in your landscape. Rather, he takes the time to individualize every aspect of your needs and preferences with your budget in mind. This includes sun/shade locations, deer issues, pests, dogs, etc. With those things in mind he curtails your likes and dislikes with regard to color, size and rate of growth and mature sizing. Basically what your garden or landscape will look like 5-10-20 years down the road. But his knowledge of the availability of plants and trees is where you will be blown away. People don't realize just how many available plants and trees exist until you speak with Jeff. You likely won't find them in your local landscape supply. Jeff has many sources outside the area for acquiring very unique specimens that I guarantee will always be focal points in your landscape.
