When my wife and I hired Garett Carlson to suggest ideas for landscaping at the front of our house little did we know it was the beginning of a life changing experience. His plans far exceeded anything we would have considered and we excitedly agreed to his ideas for our rear yard as well. There were times that we just weren't sure of his suggestions and felt like " playing it safe", but went with his vision and intuition and are so glad we did. It's now been a couple years since the landscaping (and hardscape) was completed and we still smile whenever driving up to the house. It now feels like our home is larger because of the time we spend entertaining in our rear yard, year round. Feels like our lives are so much better because of Garett's talents and friendship. I am a commercial real estate owner and now use Garett for all of our landscape work.

Garett Carlson is an amazing landscape architect who has vision and the ability to create magic. My old yard consisted of a long lap pool in an entirely brick patio, It was small and unwelcoming and we hardly used it. Garett and the team that he assembled completely changed my yard to create a fabulous naturally shaped pool-pond, complete with waterfall. Now, it looks like a mountain retreat, with large pine trees and bluestone steps, and visitors immediately want to go outside to experience being in the space. He provided excellent oversight to the pool workers, stone masons, and landscapers and kept me in the loop throughout the process. It was done on time and on budget. I would unreservedly recommend Garett Carlson to anyone who wants a great yard at a very fair price.

If you are lucky enough to work with Garett Carlson you will forever remember and appreciate how he will transform your garden! We have worked with Garett on two major projects in our yard. He has transformed the space in unimaginable ways! He is a delight to work with. Modest, kind and funny but truly visionary with his special set of skills. He is collaborative, cares a tremendous amount about his projects, is present during all phases, and is always tweaking his work to make things better. We have total and complete confidence in whatever he proposes. He is not just a delight to work with but also to know. We consider him a friend as well as our landscape architect.

Bellagio Pools and Spas, Inc. have had the distinct privilege of working with W. Garett Carlson, ASLA, on several of his projects. Garett is truly a visionary and master of his craft. He can transform an ordinary backyard into any client's dreamscape. Whatever you can imagine, Garett Carlson can create it. His last project was truly trans-formative. He redesigned a typical lap pool 8' x 40' in size and turned it into a beautiful, mystical pond in a secluded setting with a spa, red wood trees, rock waterfall, creative hardscape and luscious landscape. Garett is a consummate professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any client of mine. I hope to work with him again in the future.
