Windswept Gardens is a company dedicated to ornamental horticulture providing design, implementation and maintenance of quality landscapes. The company is made up of three divisions: Nursery - Garden Center Landscape Construction Group Landscape Maintenance Division The Landscape Construction Division is responsible for carrying out the designs for our clients as drawn by Windswept Gardens or other firms. The division not only does all the planting of trees, shrubs and perennials, but also all of the hardscaping involved in the project. From brick walks and patios to stone walls, patios and walks, the crew professionally completes each task with wonderful results. The division is also responsible for designing and installing in ground irrigation systems where called for or requested. While the finished look is extremely important, the construction crew makes sure to provide the best possible base of its projects to ensure longevity as well as aesthetic beauty. The Landscape Maintenance Division is separated into 2 groups. The first crew is responsible for maintaining the landscapes once they have been completed. They ensure the plants are properly cared for, be it weeding pruning or feeding. The plants are monitored for disease and insect problems throughout the season and appropriate measures are taken should the situation require it. The maintenance crew is also responsible for preparing the soil and planting the seasonal flower displays during the season. At times the maintenance crew will work closely with the construction crew to ensure the jobs meet both design principles, but also can address any unforeseen maintenance problem that may appear in future years. The second crew is the mowing crew. Turf areas are maintained by regular mowing throughout the season as the growth rate and moisture conditions dictate.
