Bergey Landscape + Design is a quality-oriented company seeking to improve the aesthetics and health of the exterior environment by specializing in creative design, installation, and maintenance of sustainable landscaping. OUR STORY Bergey Landscape + Design's founder, Jesse Bergey, has always been fascinated by horticulture. In his teenage years, Jesse grew increasingly interested in all things related to gardening and outdoor spaces, taking after his Dad, who also has a deep appreciation for nature. His interest guided him to major in International Agriculture at Eastern Mennonite University. After receiving his B.S. in 2002, he spent two years in Jamaica where he primarily worked in agriculture before returning to Harrisonburg where he worked in landscaping from labor to sales to landscape design. Wanting to get his hands dirty once again, he started Bergey Landscape + Design, specializing in design and creation of beautiful landscapes with a natural feel, minimal maintenance and sustainability.
