Earthlings recently completed re-landscaping both our front and back yards. The experience we had was amazing from start to finish and I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire Earthlings team. 5 stars aren’t enough to rate how happy we are with Earthlings. Kirsten worked with us to design the yard of our dreams. She listened to our likes, dislikes and needs and created a design to suit our needs. She recommended and chose the perfect plants, shrubs and trees for our space. Her design was not only aesthetically pleasing but functional as well. When it came time for the work to be done, Clayton and his team brought the design on paper to life. They are efficient, hard workers and paid attention to all the details. In completing the work, they went over and above and exceeded our expectations. Kirsten followed up after the work was complete to review the care of the plants and the yard so we can keep it looking beautiful for years to come. That was an extra I didn’t expect. We are absolutely thrilled with our new yard and look forward to watching the plants mature in the years to come! We highly recommend Earthlings. Absolutely a five star company! Working with Kirsten and Clay was hands down the best part of our house build. Kirsten has both a listening ear and tremendous creative vision so that we ended up with all the elements we wanted but exceeding our expectations in the overall design and integration with our home. We began our project with landscape design and this was a process that we worked on with Kirsten. It was a great experience to discuss our thoughts and ideas, then to have Kirsten design and make professional recommendation on the plants, materials, and method to execute our vision. Following design we moved into construction on the first phase of our landscape project in our front yard with some privacy trees in one side yard. For the construction component we worked mostly with Clay and it was really great. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! Clay and crew were very hard workers and the project came together very quickly once it had begun. We appreciated that there were thoughtful suggestions made during the course of the construction works that made improvements in the irrigation system, and minimized cost with a few elements. ~ We are very pleased with the quality of the work and the value of service that we received. We were extremely pleased with every step of our project. The design incorporated our desires plus lots of ideas and guidance from Kirsten which were all discussed at length before the final plan was agreed upon. Our project involved stripping off all of the existing sod, bringing in new topsoil, sculpting planting mounds, laying landscape cloth, placing boulders, putting in all the plants, and hauling in two types of rock. The work was completed in a very timely way. The crew was efficient and friendly, and consideration was given to neighbours as well. The clean-up was quick and thorough. Follow-up was also excellent and all questions were answered. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to have some landscaping done.

Earthlings was wonderful to work with from design to completion we are extremely happy with the work they did! They took the time to get to know our style and create a beautiful and functional outdoor space that is perfect for our family’s needs. The job was done on time even though we made changes and additions to the original plan. There are only a few things in the past that I can honestly say have exceeded my expectations. Our experience with Earthlings was one of these things. From planning to execution, everything went smoothly. That is rare these days. When there were a few hiccups, they proactively found solutions and always seemed to be a step ahead. They were creative and thought of options that we hadn't. It pays dividends to hire a professional and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. Great people, product, and service.

We gave Earthlings quite a challenge: creating a beautiful outdoor space that fit our heritage home and love of gardening and entertaining, all the while mitigating a sloping yard and drainage issues. They met the challenge with a graceful and detailed design, and technically brilliiant construction. Kirsten’s expertise as a horticulturalist and landscape designer, and Clayton’s skill as a master landscaper, are an unbeatable combination. They went “above and beyond” at every stage, and are an absolute delight to work with. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

We had a part of our front yard renovated and transferred into a seating area with a water feature. Kirsten is very knowledgeable and she did a great job in suggesting plants (some native) which are adapted to the dry conditions in Southern Alberta. Clay is a dedicated craftsman who didn't quit until everything was perfect. We are now enjoying a beautiful additional space in our garden. Thank you!

I moved to a house with no landscaping in the backyard, not a tree or a shrub. When they brought in the plants, paving and retaining wall it was like everyday was Christmas. There was a new present everyday. And this spring has been even better waiting for things to come to life. I am out everyday taking pictures of the plants as they flower.

Both Kirsten and Clayton worked very hard to design and carry through with the work on a yard plan for our new home back in 2009. The budget was agreed upon at the beginning of this project and followed closely. Both of them (and their crews) were a joy to work with and their pride in workmanship showed in everything that they did. Over the years, the plants and trees have matured very nicely and we always receive compliments on how lovely the yard looks.

We used Earthlings to do our landscaping for our new house build a few years ago. Appreciated Kirsten's ideas and knowledge in yard design. What I have most appreciated is that there has been great follow up after the build and Earthlings has been there to fix or change anything we've asked. Such great customer service! We continue to have them tweak things in the yard, plant flowers, etc. We were so pleased with our experience with Earthlings and continue to be. Would definitely recommend them!!

We hired Earthlings to do the landscaping around our home. It involved a long natural rock retaining wall, stone flower beds, sod in front and mulch areas with wood borders decorated with 40 or so bushes and 15 trees. Earthlings also did beautiful stonework on a large portion of our driveway that a year and a half later still looks perfect. We appreciated their hard work and creative flair that made the end result so attractive. We are grateful every day for our beautiful surroundings....

We have had Earthlings complete landscaping and pruning projects at our residence over the past two years and could not be more satisfied. Their Horticulturist made suggestions regarding which trees and shrubs should be pruned and/ or removed because they had become overgrown, and what plantings could replace or enhance the original landscaping. The result exceeded our expectations and provide color and texture all year round. We feel we have an oasis in the city that is a pleasure to come home to. They also replaced rotting landscape ties with paving stones We were so happy with the result we contracted their crew to complete an interlocking brick parking area on a commercial site. They not only did a beautiful job, they designed the color and pattern of the brick to enhance the building itself. The work in all cases was quickly but carefully done by a hardworking crew. The estimates in all cases was on target with variations being due to additional work we requested as the project progressed. We would not hesitate to recommend Earthlings for any residential or commercial project.
