GLC was hired to completed several contracts. Nick and his crew (Mike, Jimmie and Boyd) preformed superbly. Several trees needed to be removed from the Association's property after a wind storm. Nick and Boyd led the crew in their removal and were quick, efficient and clean up the area upon completion. Mike and Jimmie troubleshot and repaired our sprinkler system after being torn up by another contactor. I had to fire the first contractor due being unable to troubleshot the problem. Mike and Jimmie had it resolved and repair in two days. Took a day to gather parts. Nick's crew were also hired to straightened our roads signage. Another job well done. Their pricing was better then other companies in the same business. We recommend them without reservation.

I contacted GLC for a quote on a landscaping refresh based on a referral from a business acquaintance I received a prompt response to my inquiry, and an appointment was scheduled within a few days . The consultation was thorough , and every effort was made to understand my preferences and work within my budget. I was kept abreast of the timeline, and the work began as scheduled. There were no delays, and my yard was left looking beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and with the outcome. I have since referred family members to GLC confidence. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with GLC for any landscaping needs in the future!

The GLC experience is top notch and customer centric from quoting to cleanup. The entire organization from the owners, front office, and crew are professional making you feel like a VIP and that your project is their priority! Our existing porch, paver walkway, and bushes next to our house were outdated and an eyesore. Besides the negative appearance, this was not functional or safe for our family and guests. After searching both facebook and nextdoor for companies in our area we called and spoke to Eileen who directed us to upload our information to the user friendly online quotation tool. She called to clarify a few details and scheduled an onsite estimate. Gino arrived on time and his consultation method was asking us about our need for the updated steps and walkway, my wife’s preferences on colors and gardening habits. He walked around the house with us to design something that would tie the front yard to the rest of the property. My wife says "He Listens to you, I mean actually listens and takes his work personally to both enhance and match the home." He sketches out a vision listing all elements of block shapes and locking patterns, rock selection, plant colors and heights, and especially the arrangement that would highlight and accent the work. He finished our visit stating “put your trust in me” and we are glad we did! The crew are also very respectable, while onsite they were courteous while we are working from home and to the neighborhood traffic during the construction. The crew are quick, consistent working times, hard working, and expressed an attention to detail. We had several pieces cut with precision that result in paver layouts you would see at a luxury estate. The finished project has such a "wow factor" that they live up to their slogan on the trailer "Let's make your neighbors Jealous." We highly recommend GLC and can personally attest to their work. Looking forward to having additional projects by GLC in the years to come.

I was not only impressed with the design of my new landscape but how professional and courteous the landscapers, office staff and management were before/during and after my project was completed. Many of my neighbors were also very happy with their landscape projects.

This is my second time using GLC and once again Gino and his team completed an outstanding job. During the quote process I explained to Gino what look I was trying to accomplish. Gino quickly pointed out what needed to be done and used his expertise to recommend a different approach which 1) improved my vision of the project, and 2) saved me money from what I thought needed to be done. This is a great family business in which I am proud to support. I will certainly use GLC again.

We had a great experience this Summer/Fall with GLC- our family moved into a new build and we were working with a blank slate. After a few meetings and conversations with Gino we settled on plans for our dream yard and patio complete with sod, lighting, landscaping, sprinklers, and a fire pit and surrounding patio. We couldn't be happier with the results- we love our yard and the fire pit/patio that Keith and his crew worked on. All of the crew members were respectful and they all worked together like a well-oiled machine. We continue to receive compliments from visitors and neighbors and would definitely recommend working with the GLC team in the future.

Hands down we would highly recommend GLC to anyone! From communication, quality, service and execution they are top notch. Access to our project also required them to go through part of our neighbors yard and they made sure that our neighbors were okay with what they were doing and made sure their yard looked like it did before the project started. We couldn't love our backyard more now after all the work they did, between the patio and new sod, it is absolutely awesome! Can't wait to give them a call for the next project. :-)

From start to finish GLC was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their initial design strategy was incredible, we did a bit of changing and tweaking of the plans and got everything how we wanted. Communication was top notch throughout the process and installation was a breeze and was above and beyond what I expected. They took every opportunity to go the extra mile even painstakingly trimming out all of the steps for that extra special custom look. The entire team was courteous, respectful, efficient and tidy. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience with them. I would highly recommend Eileen and the GLC team to everyone, I promise you will have nothing but a positive experience. I plan to use them again in the future.

GLC is hands down one of the best companies I have ever worked with! From returning calls and emails quickly, to turning your vision into a reality! From the day we explained what we wanted a yard to look like to the day it was finished went above and beyond my visions! You literally tell them what you are thinking and they draw it up add their special touch and turn your dreams into reality. Their craftsmanship is amazing, Their ideas are awesome, and their whole entire team is hands down the best!

GLC did a super job on our yard and landscaping! We had 40 yards of dirt brought in, the yard graded, two new beds created, large boulders brought in for accent, all new bushes, perennials and two different kinds of rock. We also added low voltage landscape lighting as well. Gino and his entire crew did great work. From the initial meeting with Gino to the end of the project, was total commitment and professionalism from everyone. All of the above mentioned was also completed in 3 days! Definitely recommend them and will be calling next summer to add additional bed, bushes and plants.

GLC was amazing to work with. They had great ideas to address our concerns and desires for our yard. They worked hard and made our yard beautiful again!

First, let me start by saying that we have been repeat customers of GLC. Our first experience which is what prompted the second experience was a fantastic one as Gino the owner was the one on the job site. This review of our second job for our forever home was not the same experience at all. This job was a blank slate as it was a custom built home, so we should have been able to get everything exactly as we wanted. A sprinkler system, grade and level the land along with landscaping beds with easily maintainable plants. Gino, the owner was not on site for this job, one of his employees was. His employees and staff have always been polite and easy to work with, however we were still left with somewhat of a mess and we are only four months out. They do not offer a warranty or any type of guarantee on their plants, this is in the contract if you look for it, but it’s not something they make known when you sign. Even with this being job 2 for us with them we had no idea and we are to take some blame for that for not fully reading the tiny print of the contract. We wanted the land leveled and graded, it’s full of holes and pits that sod was just placed over, I almost face planted yesterday in one of these holes because you can’t see it until you’re in it. The sprinkler system is not as we wanted. It’s a spiderweb of zones that are stressed under pressure. We wanted separate zones for lawn and flower beds. They’re intertwined. Three trees are dying, including a blue spruce tree that I notified them immediately of, after a mere 2 months, that it was struggling, it’s now at 4 months post project almost completely dead. They offered to replace it for another $225, after paying nearly $20k for the work. After almost tumbling in the very unlevel yard yesterday, we noticed 2 more trees almost dead. Plants are obviously a huge part of any landscaping project, even Lowes warranties plants for a year, to not have any help with those is disappointing. The biggest thing is this is our forever home and this was a blank slate for the perfect opportunity to get it right. That didn’t happen this time. If we had the money, unfortunately we’re still paying for this work, we’d rip this all out and start over. Job number one at our old house still looks amazing after years. This finished project is struggling after just 4 months. Before writing this review we contacted GLC via email about a list of issues. Gino responded but only touched on 2 issues, replacing the tree for $225 more, and bringing in some river rock. Didn’t touch at all on the sprinkler, the grade/level of our yard. Our most important items. We are very disappointed this time around and with the after care regarding the responses we’ve received. We were planning on using GLC for phase 3 (Backyard) of our forever home, unfortunately and with a sad heart, we will not be. In conclusion we would absolutely recommend GLC for pavers and retaining walls, but at this point in time, not at all, for the items we hired them for sprinklers, landscaping, yard grading, plants, unless Gino himself is on the job.

I absolutely LOVE my backyard oasis G.L.C created! The pavers, lights, fireplace, and landscaping all compliment each other and look amazing!

A good friend recommended GLC so I contacted them first to get an estimate. During our meeting my wife and I decided we didn't need to call anyone else. Gino's presentation, description of his installation process, willingness to entertain our wants and offer interesting suggestions was quite impressive as well as his desire to provide exactly what we wanted with the best of quality. Gino and his installers are top-notch professionals and our new paver patio, custom fire pit and walkway have truly made our neighbors envious. Ours was a fairly big project and a bit more costly than we had anticipated, but you get what you pay for and what we got is exactly what we wanted. As I watched construction progress I had many questions that the installers answered and explained what they were doing, and why, to ensure a quality job that will last a lifetime. If I could, I would give GLC a ten star rating. Hint: the installers love Gatorade and I made sure there was a cooler full of cold ones every day for them.

Gino, Eileen and the whole GLC team did a fantastic job on our patio and backyard landscaping this summer. They were very attentive to our needs and really worked with us during the entire project. We made several changes along the way. The GLC team really listened and follow through for us. We are really looking forward to them coming back this Fall to seed the backyard. We may even have them come back in the Spring next year to do some more landscaping in the front. We will enjoy this project for many years to come!!! Thank you GLC.

I first discovered GLC on Houzz.com to my surprise they had done some local homes in my area. If I could give GLC a higher rating I would! The front of your home is the first impression that your visitors get. Our home looked abandoned before Gino came. I had an idea of what I liked and what I wanted but Gino was the one that put the finishing touch on it that made it great! He was patient and offered suggestions, listened to what we wanted and kept us up to speed during the entire process and on budget. His team was respectful and hard working. They did exactly what they said they would and I couldn't be happier. We still have a few more projects to go and they will 100% be who we call to get them done. I would highly recommend GLC.

This is a company that not only makes promises, but keeps them. The work they did for us is a piece of artwork. We could not believe that they could create something so stunning, but this surpasses all expectations. I challenge anyone to find a company this good, this diligent, this creative, this hard working, and this talented. It just doesn’t exist. If you want it done right and done beyond your expectations, this is the company to go with. You just don’t find this level of honesty and willingness to go the extra mile these days. Gino Lucia and GLC Lawn & Landscaping is the best company for this kind of work in the Downriver area and beyond. After meeting with a variety of companies to take on a job on our entire property we settled on GLC due to great communication, confidence in a job of our size and accommodation to our questions and concerns. There were some unusual challenges (simultaneously a repaving of our street) but they did not miss a beat and completed the job on time. I am grateful for their suggestions and that they have not forgotten about us. Following up and ensuring we are satisfied is greatly appreciated. Cannot recommend GLC highly enough.

They did an amazing job working on our patio many years ago. When we recently had some issues with some of the brick work they quickly came out to repair it for us. When there were miscommunications on scheduled work, the owners quickly worked to resolve that as well and were appreciative of the honest feedback received so that they could make sure that the job was done well! They work hard to make sure that the job is done well and efficiently and that the customer feels happy!

GLC did an excellent job with my landscaping project. Both Gino and Eileen went over and above in keeping me informed and helping me sort through my decisions. The quality of the work was great, I was able to stay in budget, overall a great experience. The crew were very professional as well. Would definitely recommend GLC.

We couldn't be happier with the work performed by GLC! They installed a beautiful, brick patio with matching front walkways for us. The job was pretty complicated being our home/landscaping provided several different obstacles. Plus, we had requested many changes be made from what we originally asked for at the start of the process, resulting in a pretty large job. They had no issues with overcoming any obstacles and made all changes that I had requested. The job was done in a timely fashion, and unlike other landscaping companies the team was so easy to work with and very accommodating. The final result was absolutely beautiful! It exceeded all expectations. I HIGHLY recommend hiring GLC for any of your landscaping needs. I know I will be calling them again for future services.

Thank you so much to GLC and their amazing crew! They did a great job building our retaining wall and working on the landscaping at our home! They are extremely hard working and take great pride in all the work that they do! They also communicated with us throughout the entire process as far as when they would be completing the job and as the work was being done they would give us updates as to how it was going!! GLC exceeded all expectations for our new walk way, patio and porch. We had a different company come out last year and the work they did was not what we asked for, over budget and laid incorrectly and had countless flaws which caused us to call GLC to get the job done correctly. GLC ripped out the old job and had to completely replace what was done by former company ( as homeowners we should have not tried to save a few bucks by going with an unknown company and we should have checked out former jobs done before hiring.) we learned a huge lesson. The planning, communication, knowledge were far superior than the former company from start to finish. The walk walkway and patio, porch have actually exceeded my expectations. The crew led by Keith was punctual, friendly, on time, and professional. They left my yard in better shape than it was upon their arrival. We received a $1000 credit at the end of the job (which was a nice surprise) because the unknown sub base material done by former company did not all need to be replaced so the honesty and credit speaks volumes. I would highly recommend Gino and GLC to anyone. Thanks again GLC!!

GLC Landscaping Co. replaced our large black topped driveway with beautiful pavers. Their work and work ethics were A+. The team showed up on time, worked long hours and did a professional job. People driving by would slow down to admire their work. The job supervisor listened to our needs and Carried them out to our satisfaction.

My experience was wonderful with this company . We had a pool installed and needed a new deck on our house and attached to the pool. Excellent quality. Also he landscaped our whole backyard and the side of the house. He removed the old brick paver patio and up cycled the stones to make an incredible paver walkway.

We love our new landscape project! G.L.C. is the real deal. They are smart, creative, neat, and professional. When we first approached Gino we had done our homework, looked at a lot of pictures on the Internet, and had a few ideas of what we wanted. The G.L.C. team listened to our ideas and our budget and took our project to the next level. The crew was very polite and neat, always cleaning up the job site in the evening before returning in the morning. The project was completed on time and within budget. Our neighbors are so jealous!

I have used this company twice and they have exceeded my expectations both times. They transformed the entire front yard of my house with new plants, sod and a great design. I would definetly recommend them.
