Rich Thorpe & his 5 man crew spent 5 days completely renovating my property with hardscape & landscape. They were very experienced, skillful, and efficient & I can not believe the miraculous transformation that has taken place. Their workmanship is superior. I used to cringe every time I looked at my yard, and now I am very proud of how beautiful my property looks. They created a very comfortable environment for me that I truly enjoy everyday.

I found Rich Thorpe on Houzz! After not receiving return calls from several companies located close to our new home, I kept looking, expanding the distance (via Houzz's search engine) from my home to various landscaping professionals. When I read Rich's reviews, and about his firm's long family history, I knew I wanted to meet with him. He called to let me know he was running a few minutes late for our initial appointment. Very considerate. Rich met with my husband and me and I showed him my very definite ideas of what I wanted in each area (Houzz pictures, of course). He came back with a design that involved lots of varieties and design concepts I liked. And he was very amenable to changing out any plants I was unfamiliar with or less crazy about. I felt Rich's pricing to do the landscaping was very fair; we also had Rich and his crew install a 24" x 24" bluestone pathway. I spent an hour one morning at Rich's nursery where he grows some of the plants he uses in his work. That was a great advantage to doing the work with him, financially and aesthetically. He tagged some items specifically for our job and it was so nice to see and feel the plants coming our way. On installation day we were blown away. The plants were substantial sizes and gorgeous. All of them. I had shared with Rich that our previous home had been over planted, which caused too much maintenance and was much more costly than it needed to be, as fewer plants would have filled the spaces in a short time. I feel he did a wonderful job allowing for growth and not over planting, while designing the beds to look pretty now, as well. A fine art. We found Rich to be the consummate professional and his crew was outstanding and worked very hard to give us what we wanted. We felt so confident with Rich and his work ethic, expertise and pricing, we never even got a quote from anyone else once he presented his. No regrets about that. The birds are already enjoying the plants and we are going to sit back and enjoy the greenery!

I cannot say enough great things about Rich Thorpes. He started at our house in the Fall of 2013 and we have been using him ever since. He designs, makes planting selections, implements the landscaping and is extremely practically priced. He also takes the time to tour us at either his nursery or others nurseries in the area so that we know exactly what he is recommending. I have and will continue to recommend him. Thank you Rich for all your work….I’m looking forward to planting more this spring.

We interviewed many landscape design company's when we decided to renovate our front lawn with hardscape and landscape. Rich Thorpe was recommended to us by 2 different friends that were thrilled with his services. He is creative and has a special love for what he does, that shows on every job. He made a plan after we reviewed it there was no doubt he was the guy for our project. He was awesome at helping us stick to our budget also. We couldn't have been more happy with the outcome, people stop their cars in front and admire the gorgeous pavers, landscape and the design is so unique. Of course 2 years later when we decided to put in a pool and design our backyard there was no question on who to call. Rich Thorpe is the most honest, creative, professional we have ever dealt with. He designed our dream resort backyard. From the outdoor kitchen, fireplace and the work all around the pool and he also put in our huge slide. We have recommended him to many people who all feel the same way.
