The Retro Den

Hi! My name is Tim and together with my daughter Shei... We are "The Retro Den" Shei is my partner, co-creator, muse and all around gal Friday. Together we create beautiful lamps from vintage percolators, cocktail shakers and teapots... and it doesn't stop there. We also create fun and whimsical wind chimes and fun garden art. By trade I am an engineer, a jack of all trades and master of very few. Wood worker, cabinet & lamp maker, re-inventor & upcycler. I enjoy home repair and making anything broken work again. I can take almost any piece of old junk and re-invent it into something new, cool and eye catching. My daughter Shei is my protégé and I try to share the joy of making something from nothing.. Fun Stuff... Hope you think so too. Favorite area of home improvement: All of it... but most up-cycling. Love the challenge of re-inventing almost anything old and especially horrid or quirky into something new and exciting.
