“Home Outside helped us transform our backyard -- a boring bowling-alley of grass that we hated -- into an inspiring, magical, and well-loved space that we enjoy and are so proud of. We did their easy online questionnaire, emailed photos and videos of our property, and they sent us 2 totally creative and different designs to choose from. We asked them to combine aspects of each design into the final product, and then we got to work. When it came time to plant, we had some questions about plants and placements -- this is our first garden ever -- and Home Outside answered all our questions. We loved, loved, loved that we could do all the work ourselves, at our own pace, and still have this sophisticated and interesting design that we never, in a million years, could have created without Home Outside. We can't believe that our little backyard received the attention, focus, expertise, experience and creativity of these highly skilled and talented designers. Amazing to us that we had access to them. We are so glad we put some money into an excellent design that works for us. It's made all the difference. Totally worth every single penny.”

“I hired Kathy to remove old, overgrown existing bushes and plantings and design a new garden and walkway border in front of my house.She came up with a beautiful plan that utilized low maintenance plants that were indigenous to the area and could be maintained with organic gardening methods.Since I live near a salt marsh,I did not want herbicides and pesticides used on my property in case of run-off into the ocean.I gave her my favorite colors and flower suggestions and she did the rest.She was very hardworking and came when scheduled so I felt she was very reliable.Her fees were fairly priced and I found her to be a pleasure to work with.I have recommended her to several of my neighbors and friends.”

“My company is Tasker Landscaping LLC, a landscape construction company as well as landscape maintenance company, located in Loudon NH. We also provide a limited amount of landscape design work. We specialize in working with natural materials and shoreline restoration. I have worked with many landscape architects over the past 35 years, and I have found Doug Greiner and his firm g2plus1, one of the best! We have worked and collaborated with Doug on dozens of high end residential and commercial projects that his company has designed, and I can tell you that his dedication to his clients and his communication with our landscape firm creating constructing his work in the field, is surpassed by none. He works tirelessly to create truly magnificent outdoor living spaces. His ideas are always fresh, and new. He can solve the most difficult problems with ease, and he can jump buildings in a single bound. Working together with Doug on large projects, we have saved clients thousands of dollars, by in-field collaboration. Doug always gives the client his money’s worth, always meeting deadlines, always going beyond expectations. His plans are always thorough, and his the description of his thoughts and plans are clear. “I initialy started talking with Susan @ Mountain Brook Consulting in in 1999 or so. I found her company on line when I was trying to get information for establishing my lawn consistent with the period of time my house was built (circa 1800's). She had studied in Europe , historical gardens. She had said she could help me. Well I did not really need her assistance til about 2015. I had contacted her periodically til the time finally came and she was still willing to assist from afar. As she was in NH and I was in NC. We sent pics and plans back and forth till the plan for the grounds wer done. It was a beautiful plan. I found Susan to be very well prepared, professional, patient and very easy to communicate with. Susan was full of great ideas. I had millions of questions and concerns and she was more than willing to answer them all and encourage me. She assisted me with getting all of he plants, grounds preparation, She was prompt with providing the plans, thourough, effient and very reasonable with the charges. All within my budget. I would highly recommend Mountain Brook Consulting and would eagerly usehem again if the need should arise.”
