Outdoor Luminosity LLC

Our HOA used Outdoor Luminosity for our subdivision entrance lighting and Christmas light display for approximately 3 to 4 years. We didn't have too many problems with the landscape lighting but the Christmas lights were a different story. We had continual problems with blown fuses in timer boxes in which I had to contact David multiple times every year. The last 2 years we used him there were constant excuses as to why install was delayed or why he was late coming to take care of our issues. This past Christmas was the straw that broke us. Again, with the constant excuses of personal problems to not having enough people working for him. The lights were off more than they were on and for what our small HOA paid him each year this was totally unacceptable. He was ALWAYS paid quickly and on time. We did pay for the 2020 Christmas season along with our yearly maintenance agreement for landscape lights of $800 for the 2021 year. After all the issues with our Christmas lights, it was decided we would no longer use Outdoor Luminosity for our Christmas lights or landscape lights. We did not request any refund for the Christmas lights but did request a refund for the maintenance which we would not be using and paid in advance. I contacted David numerous times requesting the refund only to receive "I'll get back to you" messages a couple times then no response at all. Luckily the HOA took down our Christmas lights or we probably wouldn't have gotten them back based on other reviews. From the beginning we were told the lights and equipment belonged to the HOA so we wanted to make sure they stayed in the subdivision. I'm sure he will post the same stock response as others, i.e. that he has no record of our subdivision in their files, but I have saved all communications I had with him via email and text. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

David did a wonderful job on our outdoor landscape lighting from design to finish. He even came out and did a "demo lighting" in advance to make sure everything was as expected. There were a couple of minor issues with bulbs afterward and David was quick to come back and change them out. He is personable, professional and obviously eager to make, and KEEP his customers happy. We now have the best-lighted home in our area and would highly recommend Outdoor Luminosity for your landscape lighting needs.

I was a little nervous about calling lighting companies to repair my 15+ year old system as I thought I would be convinced to replace the whole system. Instead, Outdoor Luminosity got my lights up and running again for a very reasonable price. I also upgraded some of the lights that were not performing well. Overall the job was very timely and professional. I'm 100% satisfied with the work David quoted and performed.
