Faux Chic Art did three beautiful projects for my house. We did soft shimmering plaster walls for the master bedroom and ceiling bands, similar treatment but lighter for the master bath and the most beautiful gold leaf pattern for the ceiling of my dining room. The pattern of the ceiling art is gorgeous but what makes everyone say "wow!" Is the way the gold leaf reflects the light of the chandelier. The artwork covers a 7 foot by 6 foot expanse of ceiling and is the first thing you notice when entering my home. Love it! Sue was professional, timely and tidy. She left the work space liveable everyday after leaving even though she wasn't finished so I could use my master bath in the evenings without hopping around a mess. She had great suggestions for what type of treatment would work best in the space and has a very good eye for color. I highly recommend Faux Chic Art.

Sue is truly talented and has a great eye when it comes to designing a room. She faux painted my dining room and it looks like a scene out of the great gatsby. She also did my master bath and guest bath. Everyone asks where I got the Great Wall paper. My daughters bedroom ceilings are also beautfiul.

Faux-Chic-Art's Sue Demmink is a consummate professional who executes fabulous finishes. Her Portofino plaster finishes in a blue metallic pearl base brought our dining room walls to life; a deeply textured cognac colored crocodile skin brings an earthy masculinity to our billiard room! Her glazing yielded a soft glow to a living room, shading brought depth to bathroom cabinets, and techniques with crepe papers added interest and elegance to yet another room. This perfectionistic artist has worked patiently with me to create beautiful and exciting surrounds. We were looking for something different for our family room. After our meeting with Sue, we were impressed with her knowledge and samples that she presented. We decided to go with polished stone which is similar to venetian plaster with higher gloss. Her work ethic was incredible! She was very flexible and worked around our schedule, finished the project before deadline....

Susan has a great eye! I explained what I ideas I had in mind, and Susan put it together into a beautiful piece of art...right on my wall! She painted my formal living room and dining room and transformed it into a completely different space! It looks more beautiful than I ever imagined! Susan also painted a mural in my daughter's room, which is gorgeous! She continued the theme into her bath and ties the two rooms together beautifully! Both projects were specifically designed for us and took into account our own tastes, colors and wishes. I have a few more projects for Susan and I can't wait to get started! She is a pleasure to work with and I am looking forward to her artistic talent to transform another room in our home soon!
