Completely dissatisfied with American Eagle Painting and Remodeling. I hired them to do interior painting. They don’t have regular employees, instead they sub out the jobs to “handymen” who are not trained painters, and do a mediocre job at best. The owners (Mark Davis and Michael Skoncey) sent a husband/wife team to my home. The wife had a full time job and was available on weekends. The husband told me he is a mechanic. On the days he came, he was late every day and worked limited hours. One day he showed up at 2 pm and painted for 2 1/2 hours. I expected painters who worked a full day, not amateurs filling in a few hours here and there around their full time jobs. This company advertises themselves as a PAINTING company. In addition their “worker” did not even have proper equipment. I discovered he put $100 worth of personal supplies on my credit card when I authorized my account for the purchase of the paint. What painting company sends a worker without a drop cloth, roller handles, and paint pan? I terminated the contract, lost some deposit money, and the owner refused to reimburse me for unauthorized use of my credit card. After doing some research on the owners I found this type of thing happens over and over with them. They change the company name from time to time and start the process all over again. I found they They write their own 5 star reviews for each other and get family members to do the same to push up their reviews to look better. And to top things off, the guy’s car leaked power steering fluid on my new concrete driveway leaving a huge oily stain. DO NOT hire them. I guarantee you will regret it. Teresa B Customer

I had Mark and American Eagle Painting at my house several times for several projects. Painting, flooring, concrete floor repair in my basement, as well as fence and railing repairs. Mark has always been up front and honest with me, and his crew was very professional and always have done really great work. I'll never go anywhere else
