Hello! I’m Martina Magnusson. If there is anything I love as much as photography, it’s creating a story—your story—with my photographs. I grew up in the village of Hokon in the southernmost province of Sweden, where I enjoyed long summer nights, short winter days, forests, meadows, and lakes. My tiny village connected me to nature’s beauty. Today I live in Chicago’s Western suburbs where I have been able to meet so many different kinds of people. That’s the nature of headshot photography! Photographing people enables me to establish a connection with someone when I’m behind the camera, and that is what is important to me. My main goal is to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera so their genuine story shines through, and they feel that their picture rightfully represents who they are.
