We had a water leak at our water meter which was caused by the city planting a tree about 3 feet away from the meter. The roots caused a slow leak and had to be fixed. We called Reed plumbing and got a quote of $700-1000, based on the amount of work to remove the roots around the meter. Well, the city came out and removed the tree and the roots, so Reed had nothing to do with the roots. We were shocked that they charged us $925 to fix a simple repair. Nonetheless, we will not be using them anymore. Please, if you want to get ripped off, do NOT call these people.
