Kim's Organizing Solutions

My love for organizing began when I was a little girl. I remember playing in my room arranging all my dolls and toys on the shelf and admiring how pretty they looked. My closet had to be nice and orderly with all my shirts and pants lined up by color. In my mind everything had to have a home. As a wife and mother I enjoyed working at home because it allowed me to use my creativity and organizing talents to provide a nurturing environment for my family. I enjoyed the challenge of making any system or space more functional, efficient and workable whether it was decorating a room, cleaning a closet, scheduling events, or planning the next meal. And I LOVED every minute of it! As an Elementary School teacher one of the gratifying things about teaching was organizing my classroom and making it functional for student learning. However, as time went on I had a stirring in my soul and knew I was meant to do something besides education, but wasn’t quite sure. In the spring of 2009 I had a prompting to leave teaching and pursue my passion. As C. S. Lewis said “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream”. After lots of soul searching I knew Professional Organizing was the direction for me. I never thought I’d take something I’m so passionate about and turn it into a business but I’m glad I did. Nothing makes me happier than clearing out a kitchen pantry or creating a new filing system to give you peace of mind. I find it very satisfying when a client sees the finished product and says, “Wow! I didn’t know this room could look so great”. I feel very blessed with the gift of Organization, helping others create a healthy living environment. The benefits of organization are well worth the effort-you feel more focused and have more time and energy for the things you love! I strive to continue to educate myself and am a member of WOAMTEC and MCABW both of which are premier business building organizations designed to appeal to the business woman who are successful and simply want to grow more. All while keeping my life in balance and my priorities of Faith First, Family Second, and Career Third.
