She has a Bachelor's in English, a Master's in Education and a Certificate in Small Business Management. Her career in marketing and PR in manufacturing, healthcare and education were all in the greater Elmira-Corning region of upstate New York. She works with a mentor who is a seasoned Real Estate Associate Broker with decades of experience in mortgage lending management. Raised on a dairy farm in a rural valley east of Elmira, just a few miles from the historic Langdon summer home where Samuel Clemen's -- Mark Twain's -- study originally was, Pam grew up embraced by the beauty of the Southern Tier of New York as the oldest of four. She enjoyed a great childhood that included camping in the Finger Lakes area, 4-H and county fairs, roller skating and horseback riding. Her mom was a teacher with the Elmira City School District with a knack for interior design, who retired to launch a gift shop that sold wicker furniture and home decor called The Willow Shoppe. Her dad, always the hard-working entrepreneur, formed and grew a successful concrete company called Custom Mix Concrete in the Elmira area that still thrives today under the ownership of Pam's brother, John. She has an understanding of construction from her dad's concrete business and its connections, and a knowledge of staging and interior design from her mom's influences. She also knows a lot about the local farming community and its challenges, as one brother, Tom, was a Cornell grad in Agricultural Business and was the area's regional director of the USDA for decades. She also has a sister, Becky, in real estate. This background gives her an understanding of the local housing market. She's lived in Lowman, Waverly, Horseheads, Big Flats and Corning, and now lives in Elmira with her husband.
