Ken began his real estate career at a very young age, interning for a top producing real estate agent in New Jersey who was ranked in the top 1% in the nation. After graduating from Bradford College in 1993 with a BA in marketing and real estate, he earned his license and went to work full time in the business. In 1995, Ken worked for a real estate technology training and consulting firm. He traveled around the United States training top producing agents on real estate technology. After two years of non-stop travel, he started his own New England-based real estate technology firm called Real Tech, serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. It was an instant success because real estate agents needed technology for their businesses but required training and mentoring to learn how to effectively implement it. In 2000, Ken sold Real Tech and moved to Switzerland, where he provided consulting to a villa rental website and other real estate start-ups. Pairing his passion for real estate with the international markets, particularly in Europe, he is still is very involved with international real estate today. After moving to the Bay Area, Ken acquired his California RE license in 3 months and closed 17 transactions in his first year selling. In 2004, he became a recruiter for a national real estate firm in San Francisco, where he helped coach and train their agents. He was awarded Team Leader of the Year for 2005 out of 32 offices in Northern California. In 2007, Ken joined the executive team at McGuire Real Estate as Executive Vice President of Business Development, where he recruited agents to the company and helped in the strategic efforts to grow the business. After three years on the management team, Ken took the opportunity to partner with a top-tier agent, Patricia Montag, to sell real estate in Marin County. Ken has published articles in many real estate periodicals and is a frequent panelist and guest speaker on technology in real estate, in addition to teaching lead generation seminars. As a resident of Southern Marin, Ken is enjoying the outdoors lifestyle that Marin has to offer and is learning more about sailing every day. He also enjoys playing piano, good wine, fine food, the arts, tennis, hiking and skiing.
