Reached out to quote a new roof for a rental in Cleveland, -They had a representative go visit the property and quoted $9k for the replacement + possible $2k if boards need to be changed -paid $1k deposit -day the work was supposed to start they contacted me saying there is slat under part of the roof and they need another dumpster and extra work to the time of $18k double the original quote The person that did the initial inspection is mistaking and is no longer with the company. -I understand the work will cost more but I can't proceed with that budget. -even though admittedly they missed the slat and quoted half the amount, I will give the benefit of the doubt and say it's not a bay and switch. -but now they refuse to give back the deposit sighting they had dumpster go out there the day of the work and crews lined up. -I was still reasonable even though they are the professionals that made the wrong assessment and said I would pay for the dumpster........ again even though it's not my fault. -but they said no even to partial refund Moral of the story. When they make mistakes they will not own up and stick you with the bill.

They came out to tarp my roof after storm. They nailed paper every 16-18” apart. The paper was flapping everywhere they put it. I called to tell them and their response was not to worry about It. I’m 71 and had to climb up on the roof to nail down the paper that they did not. Terrible company. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. DO NOT do business with this company. I called Chapelle to fix a leak in my roof over my kitchen and another leak on the eave of my porch. The owner and his friend came out to give me an estimate. They said my roof was in great shape and they could fix my issues for $1000. They then started speaking about valleys and channels and other roofing terms. I told them as long as that means my roof will stop leaking that sounds fine. They came out to fix both areas. Their foreman showed me pictures of their work and I said thank you and promptly paid my bill. My roof began LEAKING A MONTH LATER! Five months later, my roof continues to leak again in the same spots. I have called several times and asked if they can come back out and fix these issues. The owner and his friend came back out and looked around and said they would be happy to send the crew back. That was the last I heard from them. I followed up a month later and they denied that they had ever agreed to work on the eave or that the owner had come back a second time/said he will send the crew back again. They offered to come out and reappraise my job (that they had already allegedly done). I asked about their guarantee they advertise on their website, they said that only applies to new roofs. They are now unwilling to do the job they were contracted and paid for. Find another roofer, this company are one to skip.
