We would like to acknowledge our shortcomings regarding this project. We did not perform up to our own standards. We did fail two mid-roof inspections. But after slight corrections to the vent pipe flashing and rake underlayment, the inspection did pass and the final inspection passed without incident.
We did propose an additional $7000 after an inquiry about closing off the valleys, that's how much it would cost in labor and materials.
We did reduce the invoice by $5000 as an acknowledgement of our shortcomings. Again, we are sorry that this roofing project did not meet yours or our expectations. We do stand behind our work and will do whatever it takes to make it right. Mr Marshall has a five year workmanship warranty from Excel Roofing. Any future roofing problems will be addressed for the next five years without fail.
