I hired Mike to build a garage and when it became clear he was trying to scam us with additional charges not in his original bid we asked him to stop work. He agreed, but refused to return almost $50,000 for work he had not completed. Now we’ve hired an attorney to sue him and try and get our money back. We also recently found out that Mike changed his name and started a new construction company in 2021. Mike was formerly known as Mustafa Matalgah and his previous company was DFW the Other Guy Construction. Needless to say, I don’t recommend hiring “Mike” or M.H.I.

Mike did a great job with several projects at my house. Fixed electrical problem while installing new recessed LEDs, textured and painted the ceiling which looks great! The larger project he completed was removing and replacing all soffits and gutters and painted the outside of the house. He is always on time and makes sure everything is completed correctly. I highly recommend his work.

Mike has been helping me make my house my home. He has become like family and I feel blessed to have met him. The work he has done is always above any beyond. He his kind, hard working, and honest. He will not take short cuts or compromise his work at all. He guarantees all his work. So far we have fully remodeled the master bathroom and kitchen. Painted and repaired plumbing in half bath, laundry room, painted my daughters room. Treated the house for mold. The outside of the house has been repaired and painted, new architectural shingle roof was placed, new sewer piping all the way to the street. So much work in less than a year. I would recommend him for any job. And he will always be my 1st choice with any work I need done.

We needed a repair that was beyond our DIY abilities and had Mike come out and take a look and give us a quote. He was prompt, professional and very reasonable, so we selected him to repair the column between our garage doors and reseal each door. He returned on schedule and got to work realigning and restructuring the column. He complete the job and even primed the new construction. We were very pleased with his work, his professionalism and his trustworthiness, we would recommend Mike to anyone!!
