Telhas Roofing

My experience with Telhas Roofing and owner Alex Soares was very positive. I say that as a professional engineer who has delt with construction contractors for over thirty years. Just a week ago I discovered a serious leak in the tile roof of my home. Alex, Joe and his crews were extremely responsive and showed excellent technical expertise in assessing the problem, determining a repair plan, and quickly organizing and completing the actual repair. All this work was at a reasonable final cost based on the time, labor, and materials that were required for a quality fix. I will not hesitate to hire Alex and Telhas Roofing again in the future.

Let me start by saying how professional they are, I called them after being given a run around by two other roofing companies that wanted to replace the entire roof. I called Telhas Roofing on Fri the 29th of Aug at 4.15pm they promised to come in the following day as the house was still leaking. They arrived at 9am on Sat the 21st. Assessed the damage and took pictures to show me what needed to be replaced and gave me a quote before 3 pm the same day. They promised to get their crew first thing Tue the 23rd. They were at my house at 7:30am and by 1pm they were done. They sent me updated durning after the repair. The pictures showed what they had replaced. I'm so glad things turned out this way, they saved me a lot of money and did job right. I highly recommend Telhas for being professional, fast, informative, fair and trustworthy.

We really like Telhas Roofing. They responded quickly, were fairly priced, and completed the work in a timely fashion. Their customer service was particularly noteworthy (really very good) and their work looked great -- which we could see well because of their drone and the pictures they provided! That was a nice touch! We certainly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Why 5 stars? (Tear-off and re-roof) After getting quotes from multiple roofers, I went with Telhas Roofing. They key thing for me is "trust". The only way for me to gain trust is by how professional the roofer is. Do they promise to reply by a certain time and do so? Do they share a quote that is detailed enough for the customer to think about what is being promised? Do they care about my questions? Do they take the time to address it? Every interaction measures the degree of confidence I would place on their work. The first roofer I contacted didn't want to go up to the roof to give me a good estimate. He also stated that if he gives me a formal quote for my insurance company, that I would lose the option to go with someone else. The second roofer, when asked about shingle types, did not mention I had the option to choose 40-year shingles. When I met the Telhas Roofers, they went up to the roof, checked every square, took pictures, and showed me areas that needed fixing. They were not pushy. Instead, they focused on listening carefully to my questions, addressing each question in depth, and allowing me to lead the conversation. After I got the quote, I had additional follow-up questions. At the end of our second talk, we agreed on a price that was reasonable for the work and labor. Alex and Joe appeared honest and conveyed a high sense of integrity and pride for a "work well done". And they did deliver. Their crew (both of them included) came on the date and time the work was scheduled. Every time there was an issue with the work, Alex/Joe would knock on the door to show me a pic of the areas that they were fixing. They did not charge me extra for the replacement of plywood (which another roofing company's quote included an extra charge as needed). With a drone, Alex showed me how the work was being accomplished throughout the day. They picked up all the trash resulting from the tearing off of my roof (they had a dumpster). They also protected all of the roof's corners with a metalic material and replaced all of the vents. It is not often that I work with people I can place my full trust on. I took the time write this review to thank Telhas Roofing for their integrity and high quality of work.

These guys were great. They showed up promptly and diagnosed the problem. Then they came on the day promised and got the work finished in a reasonable timespan. The clean-up was perfect, and the explanation of the details of the problem and repair were excellent. I'd be happy to engage them again for further work.

SUPERB!!! Alex is really nice and personable. His crew is the same. Their work is impeccable. They finished my extremely large roof in 1 day. I have never been more pleased. The price was the best estimate I had and they had it done quickly. You can't go wrong with them!!

They are prompt, professional, very communicative and repaired my roof in an efficient and timely manner. Would highly recommend them
