Alex, We are disappointed to read your comments about your experience. During any extensive renovation such as yours, some inconveniences are not unusual. We always address them immediately and make sure all parties involved are kept informed. Regarding your project’s length: On Monday, 1/7/19 we began your siding replacement and finished on 1/17/19. During those 9 week days there were 4 days when no work could take place due to rain and extreme cold. All contractors suffered delayed schedules in January and February because frequent rain and cold made it unusually difficult to progress on exterior projects. Also, unfortunately the manufacturer of your new door accidentally shipped us the wrong size so it had to be reordered. That special order door then extended your project 3 weeks past the rest of your project. It was the weather and the door that caused your project to take longer than our normal 2 to 2-1/2 weeks for siding and painting. In fact, past clients are typically impressed with how carefully we plan each stage of projects in order to complete our remodels in a timely manner.

We have now completed projects on 38 homes in your subdivision so we are very familiar with how well they were built. During any siding replacement thousands of nails are removed from the studs of exterior wall studs and then reattached with the new siding. This process sometimes causes some new nail pops on inside walls which we always repair and paint. That is what happened with your home. When you required we repair interior wall nail pops that were present before the project we did those also. Nothing is ever done intentionally and your home is repaired accordingly.

Our company works hard to offer the best customer service possible. Communicating to our clients and crews is our top priority. Everyday we review the weather and alert our crews, and clients as to the plan for the day. We do that through a combination of phone calls, texts and emails. Sometimes, plans do not go as we hope and things change in remodeling. We are sorry if you felt we didn’t communicate enough.
