Westcoast Solar Energy

Westcoast Solar Energy was founded in Sonoma County in 2009 by solar industry veterans, Jeremy Greer and Nate Gulbransen. Previously, the principals ran the sales, marketing and installation divisions of the North Bay office of national contractor, Akeena Solar. After watching the quality of work and materials suffer in the name of maximizing corporate profit, they decided to make a change. Westcoast Solar Energy was founded on the principle of leading the industry in ethical dealings, quality workmanship and evolutionary design. It didn’t take long for word to get out that there were distinct advantages to having a Westcoast Solar Energy System installed. Westcoast Solar Energy is the leading Sonoma County-based solar contractor with 4MW of installations since 2009. As lifelong residents of Sonoma County, Nate and Jeremy take pride in contributing to their community’s economic success. To this end, they support local charity, pay a good wage to quality people, and support local suppliers.
