We had to leave our house due to my wife's and my chemical sensitivity. Bill was able to diagnose the problem and found the source of mold in our attics. His report was complete and very informative. His team removed the damaged insulation, and when he was done properly air sealing, installing proper ventilation, and insulating our house we were able to move back in and the house is wonderfully warm. HOMEOWNER BEWARE! I would give a -5 star rating if possible. Energy Conservation Specialists substantially overcharged me for incorrectly installing a shingle roof, fascia, and drip edge, and then refused to issue a refund. They also billed me for a lot of other work that they never even performed! The solution they did offer was to have a different contractor (that I did not approve of) correct the roof with less expensive materials than I originally paid for, and still not fix any of the other work that they performed incorrectly or failed to do at all. The owners at ECS do not have any moral integrity whatsoever, and it is a possible outcome that they will cause damage to your home. I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere, as there are several energy efficiency EXPERTS in the area. I truly regret my decision to work with Energy Conservation Specialists.
