We hired Eric Judge of Judge Concrete Industries located in Lake County, IL in September 24, 2020 as a LOCAL REFERRAL to replace our driveway and redo the walkway to the front entrance of our home. They took our 50% deposit and told us they would complete the job by 10/31/2020. This contractor never showed up, called and made excuses, pushing out start dates and rescheduling numerous times. On Nov. 1, 2020 this contractor finally returned our call and said he could no longer proceed with the job and would return our deposit within 3 business days. He inquired if we take Venmo and he would pay us back in that form. We have not seen or heard from this contractor until most recent on 2/15/21 when we received an email from Venmo that "Eric Judge declined our request" for our deposit owed to us. It is February 17, 2021 and we still have yet to see our deposit. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR
